The best thing about this place are the cat and the dog at the reception. They are cute and funny and get along very well. The breakfast was not expensive but very good. if you come after 5 and leave before 9 the parking in the street in front of the hotel is free. I stayed there to visit Cherveny castle, the castle from the Tintin adventures and it was such a lovely stay that i extended for another night because the town Blois is so wonderful. The hotel has its personality and charme. it is not one of the chains that look all the same For the price it was good value. Maybe the intereior is a bit old. But for me that counts as personality.

The hotel owners were helpful with a possible late check-in. We called when there was a risk to arrive after 22:00. They provided us with the necessary information how to check-in ourselves. Even though we managed to arrive at 21:45, the helpful and constructive attitude of the owners was very helpful. The breakfast was great for a very affordable price. The coffee was excellent. If you're a pet lover, a dog and a cat also welcome you at the entrance, which melts your heart. We stayed one night as a stop-over during a long drive. We don't have anything negative to mention.

Good location, close to the center of the city. Very good restaurant, fantastic beef! We were eight altogether and we decided to have the breakfast at the hotel. This was in a form of buffet, and the products were very good, but the amounts were insufficient for the amount of people dining. Also parking was.a bit of a challenge.

This is the kind of old style simple hotel I love. There is a quaint atmosphere that is still there even though the premises have been completely refurbished. The italian shower is brand new and the beds were good in a quiet room. The kids loved the breakfast with delicious bread and croissants from a good bakery and freshly made scrambled eggs. The location opposite the train station and close to the city centre is ideal. A hook for the clothes in the bathroom would be useful.

Arrangement for out of hours entry and email advised process for entry Breakfast was fresh. The dog and cat were friendly, but not intrusive. Staff friendly Easy to find & satisfactory location - especially if travelling by train. Quiet. Bathroom was poor. Sink tap only dribbled water. It was a race between the shower tray filling with cold water and overflowing before hot water came from shower head. Must have wasted 40 or fifty liters of water waiting for hot to flow through. Didn't like that reception was unattended from 19.00. What happens if you don't have mobile phone? You can't get in?

There were nice cat and dog. The hostess made a warm omelet. The holder of the hotel is a very pleasant man. No elevator, pretty dark corridors and light is not bright, no hotel parking, but possible to park on the street on paid parking places.
