Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Bloomington

The room had not been vacuumed at all and the bathroom floor was not swept or washed hair all over the floor and the tv never worked for 186 a night that was not okay all.

This property was clean and staff friendly and helpful.

I was pleased with my stay. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Location to our event was convenient Filthy room and clearly had not been completed, no towels or bathmat in room, the washcloth I went to use on my face was covered in someone else’s make up, the room had not been dusted in several places, the floor was the worst-clumps of blonde hair, Bobby’s pins, grass and dirt. No one has vacuumed that carpet in a LONG time.

Breakfast was the one thing that was more than just okay. Our room came stocked with only 2 towels for a reservation of 4 persons. Spa was out of service. Pool was okay. Our room was right by the ice machine and there was a solid inch gap between our door and the floor. Needless to say, it was a noisy night. A/C worked okay, not great. Room was an okay place to rest for the night, but nothing special.

The room was clean. There was a huge gap underneath the door to the hallway. We did not like that. It was loud at night.

First, the room looked nothing like what I had booked! There was supposed to be a separate area for the pullout bed. Since someone in the group snores, that is majn reason for booking this room. So that person worried about that all weekend. I requested a rollaway bed but didn’t have that either. Good thing one person didn’t come with. Second, the bathroom door didn’t lock, there were limited towels(good thing I brought extra from home), trim pulling away from wall. For being newly renovated, you couldn’t tell in the room. Kids were freaked out by what looked like blood on the comforter. Need to do a little better with cleaning!
