Nice hotel in Bodega Bay. Close to restaurants and harbor.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was great.

The linens and towels were very clean. The bathroom and balcony showed signs of wear that needed repair. They are remodeling I understand. Nice view! Quiet.

No one at the check in counter, waited another 1/2 hour after waiting 1/2 hour for room code and information to be sent. It never was so an hour later we finally get a room and it's not even cleaned yet. We have to wait a while longer for them to finish.

I payed for 2 rooms expecting to be next to each other , I was told it’ll be on 2 different locations . Explained I needed rooms together, only to find out later that if I want rooms next to each other I had to wait for a hour or so to be ready. We got our 2nd room after 5 or so . I have the name of person who waited on us but don’t like to share his name … needs some customer / visitor service experience. Also your check in time sucks , so much money for such late check in.

Hot tub was hot. But not too hot. Room was very nice and clean. Balcony looks out onto the bay which is just nice to sit out there and watch the sunset or whatever. Definitely would go there again.

Only issues-- Could not figure out volume adjustments on big Sanyo TV. At least for us, it was not intuitive. Of course we grabbed staffers Chris and Luis who not only reset our door combo but also showed us the trick for volume control!!

The cleaning staff does not speak English, it was difficult to ask for anything like more towels, or to have our room cleaned etc. There were contractors on the roof of our room pounding and nailing new shingles on the roof while we were in our room it was extremely noisy and disturbing. It took 2 separate phone calls to speak to a manager to resolve the problem. The shower head was broken and barely sprayed water out evenly, the partition for the shower was on the wrong side so water got all over the floor outside the shower every time we showered. We will try another hotel next time visiting beautiful Bodega Bay.

For starters, we had to arrive at 4:00p else we would be charged extra, Either earlier or later. While the facility was very new, that is where the positives end. The check in was horrible as the person was very unprofessional, difficult to talk to. With the area suffering from a wild-fire, putting air quality for us at risk, We decided to cut our stay short by one day. Staff would not even consider a refund as their rules state changes must be at least 72 hours advance notice. Decided to leave anyways and lost up to $300 for second night. Had to return at noon the day we left because staff claimed they would not be in attendance before On checking out same staffer showed his stripes by texting or talking loudly on cell phone with me there-extremely noisy as I wear hearing aids and could not hear him. He did not respect me and, to me, was rude As to the socalled amenities, we used nothing but were still charged plus tax. For an upscale place, no food or beverages were even available. My reviews as being okay apply to physical structures and room only. I will NEVER go there again. Even before we left home nearly seven days before our stay, the site made it very difficult to find out about it. They tried to get me to upload license and credit card before I even got there. I would not nor could not. Management needs to make amends, with at least an apology or credit us for the lost money for the second night. Rules be damned A fire nearby could have made us sick.

Beautiful hotel across from the bay with spectacular views. Would stay here again.

This was a cozy spot and very clean. Conveniently located near the local pub and grill.

Nice views of the bay. Staff friendly and helpful, but not always available. Front office was closed most of the time. Thank you for allowing the dog to stay with us.

The bay view was great. We paid extra for early check in at 1:00, which was confirmed by the hotel the day prior. When we arrived at 1:00, we still had not been sent our room number or the entry code. We went back and forth with 3 different people on line and over the phone as this is a self check in hotel and there were no staff on the premises. It took 45 minutes of us waiting outside before the information was sent to us. And, our room was not cleaned yet and had to wait for maid service, even though they knew, and confirmed, we were checking in early. We were not charged the early check in fee because of this mix up, however, it does not make things right. My husband and was supposed to be sent an informational email, and was not. When we called the main number to request maid service, each time we got the answering machine. I asked for upstairs and was given the bottom floor. The last night we were there, the people above us kept me up until 3:00 am.

Very nice staff, we love the convenience of a long bird watching walk, food, coffee, and adult beverages, all within walking distance... The rooms are clean and provide coffee, that's a big plus... . No complaints...

The location The hidden fees for the absolute mundane stuff like the wifi, water filling station etc.
