The staff are overall very good, and some of them truly work miracles with the limited resources they have. The two chefs at the barbecue and pide (Turkish flatbread) oven were especially impressive this year.

Nothing Terrible food, I can't even explain how bad the food was. Prison beds, extremely uncomfortable Dirty rooms, stinky and smelly Terrible service. Like you can't eat anything after 9pm even if you pay. It takes multiple hours to order and get drinks by the beach. Employees are trying their best, but there aren't enough of them. Photos and reality are very different. We paid for deluxe bungalows with multiple floors. It was supposed to have 4 beds but had only 1 bed. They ended up bringing kids beds for adults to sleep on. It was not acceptable. I wish I never came here. In fact, booking should remove this facility from their platform. It impacts bookings' reputation.

Liked the accommodation (bungalow), overall premises (nice flowers and trees), the meals and most importantly the sea and beach. Also, the staff was very kind and helpful (especially in the restaurant). Unfortunately, we experienced a couple of technical issues during our stay including the boiler breaking down and flooding the bathroom (at 11 pm) and the air conditioning unit leaking water. These were however all addressed very quickly by the technicians on site. The main issue was that we got a bungalow/room right next to a very noisy technical room (water cleaning facility) which was on all night. We mentioned this to the reception staff and they tried to get it switched off during the night. Things did get a little better, but we weren't happy with the fact that they refused to change our room (even though we had asked) and also didn't receive any form of compensation to offset the inconvenience. Most frustrating was that the reception staff didn't properly acknowledge (actually downplaying the situation) and apologize for all of the issues.

food was great, sea is amazing, rooms were clean, staff were friendly there was a sewer smell from time to time which made me deduct one point from the overall score

Staff- 10 out of 10 Room Location The location and amenities were amazing, but there were no entertainment activities or animation time. Guests could participate in activities if an animator was available. Additionally, the water pressure was very low from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, and when I inquired, I was told, "Everyone is showering, so the water pressure is weak." The hotel should have a water reservoir to prevent such issues. Overall, it was a good experience.

The hotels is located in an amazing secluded spot not far from Turgutreis. It has its own beach in a small lagoon with fine sand that gets cleaned and even out every morning. The sea is shallow in this area and the water was very clear. The hotel territory is beautiful and exceptionally clean. There are plenty of beach beds, picnic tables, small nooks where you can relax and have a nap outside while listening to the sea. The seating system in the dining area is very smart: we had a table allocated to our room and did not have to worry about finding a seat or anything like that. The food was very tasty and diverse, with options for any dietary requirement. If you want to have a coffee or a drink outside of meal hours, you will have a card that is attached to your room so you don’t need to worry about carrying cash around. In the end of our stay we just settled the bill at the reception. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and we got whatever help we needed despite the language barrier. There was also a lady on staff that spoke perfect English that was checking on guess every day in case they need information or help, which was very useful for us as we wanted to travel around but did not know how. All around it was a great stay for us and we are hoping to visit again next year. The only issue we had is that we could hear our neighbours when they had a lively conversation in their living room, which was adjacent to our bedroom. This was dealt with by the staff quickly and politely, but I think is an issue with sound insulation. The rooms are quite big so you have sort of an echo when you speak. (we stayed in the main building where the reception is so not sure if this would be an issue if you chose to stay in a cabin) It is also worth mentioning that in the bay where the beach is located there is no promenade or embankment in case you are the kind of person that loves a stroll after dinner. We resorted to just walking around the territory or getting a taxi to Turgutreis in the evening.

    Very good

Recently, we stayed for a week in a stunning-looking hotel with an excellent location, but unfortunately, our experience was predominantly disappointing. The hotel seemed to have all the ingredients for a top-notch stay, but the service fell short on several fronts. Here are two examples of our unfortunate experiences: Upon arrival, we discovered that the insect screen in our room was broken, which deprived us of the option to open the windows without exposing ourselves to unwanted visitors. We reported this issue immediately to the front desk, where we were assured it would be promptly resolved. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Throughout our entire week-long stay, the problem remained unresolved, forcing us to sleep with closed windows in a poorly-ventilated room. During check-out at 6:00 AM, we found ourselves in an unexpected predicament. There was no one present at both the reception and security desks. This was not only inconvenient but also concerning due to the security issues it raised. We had our baby with us and felt very uncomfortable. After a nerve-wracking 20-minute wait, a staff member finally appeared to assist us. The check-out process was far from smooth, as obtaining the correct invoice proved to be quite challenging. Unfortunately, these are just two examples of the many shortcomings we experienced during our stay. It appears that the hotel, despite its beautiful appearance and ideal location, grapples with serious issues in terms of service and efficiency. My advice to the owner of this hotel is to urgently conduct a thorough review, not only of the facilities but also of the staff and operational processes. Such a lovely hotel deserves to provide its guests with an unforgettable experience, and it is certainly achievable by paying attention to all aspects of hospitality. Hopefully, future guests will have a more satisfying experience than ours.

A great hotel for a relaxing holiday, there is peace and quiet around. Wonderful beach in a quiet bay, sand, clear water. Good restaurant, delicious food. Pleasant music in the restaurant and on the beach. At 11.00 the bar closes, the music turns off and there is complete silence. The rooms are spacious, decorated in a modern, calm style, equipped with everything you need. In the morning you can admire the sunrise. A positive impression of the hotel and pleasant memories. The rooms had limited hot water, not always enough for 2 people. The cleaning could have been a little better.

Swimming in the crystal clear, calm water, the beach. The location is great. I travelled to this hotel mainly because of the water. The lack of service, the facilities are not well taken care of, chipped plates and repetitive menu. It's not well administered.

The only things we liked about this hotel are: 1. The big room size we booked (We stayed in a junior suite which had a separate living room) 2. The nice and clean sea next to the hotel. The rest about this hotel is definitely bad. Definitely not worth for the whole bunch of money we paid. Here are the concrete reasons: 1. We had requested a cot for our 1 year old baby. They provided a camping bed without a mattress. They just put a duvet in the bed. We said on our first day this is not usable for our baby. Then they changed it with a poor quality sponge mattress which did not have the same dimensions with the camping bed. There was a lot of space between the mattress and the edge of the bed. We just thought they didn't have any other mattresses and didn't complain more and let our baby sleep in this uncomfortable bed. But after 1 week we have seen that they were taking a really big camping bed and a thick nice mattress out one of the rooms during cleaning and we realised that they just behave differently to each customer. 2. The bedroom door handle was broken and therefore we couldn't close it properly after our baby slept in the bedroom because otherwise she could stay locked up in the room. We have mentioned the problem twice to the reception and they sent someone to fix it but it couldn't be fixed properly. 3. The meals, the grill were really fatty. The pastries were ok. The coffee was terrible and besides it was charged except the breakfast. 4. They provided fixed places to sit during meal times which was unfair. Some people were sitting very close to the grill, restaurant, some far away, some in the sun. Besides, we had to look for a new high chair for our baby every time we went to have a meal. People were just taking it away. And everytime I had to clean it by myself for my baby to be able to sit. Most of them were broken too. 5. The hygiene was terrible. The carpet in the room was dirty. We could definitely see the dirt on the clothes of our daughter who was crawling. There was a mosquito net under the sofa in the living room. During our 10 nights stay there was no cleaning except the vacuuming I asked for once.

Good food, there was a lot of meat and vegetarian options everyday. Room service was regular and careful. The sea is far from being any wild, very much suitable for kids and people with lower swimming skills. The playground is very much exposed to sun. It is impossible to use it during the day, Some of the tables at the restaurant are also very much constantly exposed to sun. The hotel management can easily countermeasure both. That would improve the experience of kids, guests and the service personnel at the restaurant.

This is our 3rd stay here, excellent complex for restful family vacation. No repairs, attention to detail this year. Previous 2 years, everything was superb, this year it was clear - they cut some costs. 5 grills reduced to one, semi self service converted to full, food quality down from superb to average. Repairs on the hotel were neglected.

    Pleasant

  • Engine customer Jul 2023

Location is great. Akyarlar is one of the clearest beaches in Turkey. Rooms were spacious. Serving staff was very friendly and polite. Good for families. Food was very basic. They are after quantity and not quality. This hotel does not have a good value for money. Front end staff was very inexperienced. In general, management of the hotel needs a shift.

Perfect hotel for a family holiday in Bodrum, a hidden gem! The hotel grounds are great for little ones to roam and have fun in, the beach is gorgeous and sea is crystal clear. Very friendly staff at the reception, restaurant (both the waiters and chefs!), kids club, beach bar - great service everywhere. It is very welcoming and warm. Food is delicious and there are lots of options. Most importantly there is no loud thumping music on the beach or by the pool - so you can properly relax and enjoy the joyful atmosphere. We will definitely come back for another family gathering! Hard to find anything wrong. Maybe faster/more stable Wi-Fi would be better.

  • Engine customer Jun 2023

Staff and attention was amazing. The food was incredible! wi-fi does not work very good from the rooms

  • Engine customer May 2023

Beach facilities and service are amazing! The view from the beach is spectacular and, honestly, having direct access to the beach is what makes this place so great. Rooms are super comfortable and spacious. For the price, food is okay and the staff was really attentive and helpful. WiFi could be better. We were looking forward to use the tennis court and engage with some of the activities advertised on Booking but as we stayed at Marma during the low season those weren’t ready yet. Keep that in mind when booking. Staff was super helpful and did their best tu help us, that’s true. But, with the exception of one person in the reception, they didn’t speak any English. At times, communicating with them was hard. Also, coffee. It was just disgusting. This is advise that I think would improve the breakfast and coffee break 100%: prepare fresh coffee. Just filter coffee will do it. The hotel has the capacity and the kitchen staff to do it, shouldn’t be so hard.
