Akkan Beach Hotel

Everyone working there, especially Fikret Bey, Halil Bey, Egemen Bey, Pelin Hanım, and Ersan Bey, made us feel right at home. Besides the pool, having the sea right in front of the hotel is fantastic. I would like to extend my sincere thanks for the food, their hospitality, and their positive attitude. I would also like to thank Mr. Egemen for the special dinner he prepared for us at the hotel restaurant. The fish and appetizers were wonderful! Meanwhile, you won't have any parking problems for your car, which is great. It's a hotel you can stay at with complete peace of mind. Actually, nothing bothered me!

Love the location of the hotel so we could walk around town. Staff was friendly and accommodating Water was luke warm at best in the shower. No safe in the room

Beach towels could be cleaner, and the sunbeds are quite old. The room is also a bit dated and could be cleaner, although it was still comfortable. The biggest issue is the very poor sound isolation - you can hear almost everything from the neighboring rooms. On top of that, party ships cruise right in front of the hotel all night, and the music is extremely loud, even with earplugs.

Great location, very accommodating, friendly staff, clean place, location is amazing... it has a beach in front of the place, you can use them seats and umbrellas at no cost, they even have service to the guests at the beach, like if you like to get a drink or food... parking is free and available which is a big plus, breakfast buffet is to die for... you can also enjoy the dishes they have at the restaurant section... you can literally walk to anywhere in downtown Bodrum, all the boat trip spots are right by it... I will definitely be booking here on my next visit. everything was very nice... there was nothing I didn't like about this place

The hotel’s location was excellent, close to everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and they made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay, especially Mr. Halil, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect location , private beach , beach front ,in the center of the center , his manager and owner Mr HALIL so kind and welcoming and helpful , I reserved standard room at the back and told the manager I want to change to beach front upgrade and he told me smile first and I will do it for free for you ? Small room , but i reserved standard one

Excellent location and swimming pool. Nothing

Cleanliness could be improved. The safe placed inside the only wardrobe in the room had an incredible layer of dust inside of it. The bathroom was so-so, could have been cleaner. I noticed a couple of hairs stuck on the tiles on the wall. The room was on the smaller side with AC blasting directly onto the bed. It wasn't possible to adjust the temperature to achieve pleasant conditions. They should buy new towels or at least bleach the existing ones. The rooms have zero sound insulation so we could hear our neighbors 'having fun' as if we were in the same room. The beach is narrow and not so well-maintaned. The sunbeds were dirty and when we asked the beach staff to fix that, he said he has nothing to clean them with. So I guess the sunbeds don't get cleaned the entire season...or maybe never. Later in the afternoon there was trash lying around, the beach staff didn't bother to pick it up. The receptionist (older man) seemed pretty irritable. The bartender thought he was slick but was borderline arrogant. Not sure I'd stay again.

I liked the location, the friendly and helpful stuff, the private beach is definitely a bonus. the cleaning could be improved, not only by request but everyday

The property is clean and right at the beach. Downtown Bodrum is great place for enjoying good seafood and nightlife for a couple of days and this hotel is at the prefect location to access that lifestyle.

Everything was nice. Here I want to mention that, Mr Khalil/Halil on reception was very helpful and accommodating. The quality and quantity of breakfast needs mark improvement.
