The hotel is in an excellent location where you can walk everywhere in Bodrum Town. The rooms are super clean and the breakfast was really tasty? The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Especially Murat is a super kind and nice guy who works tirelessly and never without a smile! Hotel manager Mehmet Can also helped us a lot including a late checkout on our checkout day. Overall great hotel, great people, highly recommended. We felt really like at home with my family!

Food was very marginal. Shower was very shallow, easily flooded, not fun when washing long hair. Father to airport than expected.

The location was excellent, very close to the promenade along the beach. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful, and twice provided me with a breakfast as early as 5:30 AM. The air conditioning worked very well, which was important considering how warm and humid the weather was. Having to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my room was a bit much.

I want to highlight MURAT, he was been amazing to us from the start. My husband and I have been welcomed from the beginning. He’s always smiling and checking on the guests to make sure they are doing well. He goes above and beyond and I want that to be known. Thank you Murat for making our stay so much better. We will definitely come back!

I rarely write reviews this personal, but some experiences truly deserve to be recognized. After staying in 8 different hotels throughout my trip across Turkey, I can honestly say this property was my favorite — and it was because of one extraordinary person: Murat. In a world where hospitality can sometimes feel routine or transactional, Murat reminded me what genuine care for guests really looks like. From the very beginning, he treated me with a level of kindness, attentiveness, and sincerity that made me feel valued every single day of my stay. He went out of his way to help me with so many things — assisting with laundry, making sure my internet connection worked well, checking in to ensure I was comfortable, and always doing it with warmth and professionalism. What touched me the most were the small details he remembered. One morning at breakfast I mentioned wanting an omelet with mushrooms, but they had unfortunately run out. I didn’t think much of it afterward, but the next morning Murat remembered without me even mentioning it again and made sure I received my mushroom omelet. It may sound like something simple, but moments like that leave a lasting impression because they show genuine thoughtfulness. It showed me that he truly listens and truly cares. Traveling far from home can sometimes feel lonely and exhausting, but Murat’s kindness made Bodrum feel welcoming, comforting, and unforgettable. Long after beautiful views and hotel rooms fade from memory, it is human kindness that stays with you — and that is exactly what I will remember from this place. Murat, if you ever read this, thank you sincerely for making my stay one of the most meaningful parts of my journey through Turkey. People like you are rare, and this hotel is incredibly fortunate to have someone who represents hospitality with such heart, pride, and dedication. You made a difference in my experience in ways bigger than you probably realize, and for that I will always be grateful. Nothing everything was Amazing!

Usually I don’t write the hotel reviews but this place is absolutely exceptional! It is right by the beach, the place is so beautifully designed but the staff is the best! They reached out to me a few days before my arrival with the details on how to get there. I had a couple questions and they were so willing to help. When we stayed at the property, they completed our single request and were so pleasant to deal with. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again! I can’t recommend it enough.

Hotel staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Only issue was the bathroom; there was a sewer gas smell that made the bathroom unbearable to be in.

It’s location could not be better I didn’t stay longer

The bed was comfortable, but the bedding was very inappropriate - no top sheet and a small quilt. The breakfast was plentiful and a nice mix of things for a basic Turkish breakfast. The location was very nice, and it was an easy walk to the city center bus terminal, the ferry terminal, and the pedestrian street area of the city. The bathroom had mold, the very small porch was very dirty, the light in the hall was flashing and very disturbing, the door rattled whenever there was a breeze, and the walls were paper-thin and we could hear the neighbor.

Akkan hotel is right in the centre of Bodrum it was close to all restaurants, shops and beaches. Mr. Can and Murad were very welcoming, friendly and passionate about providing the best service. They made sure to help accommodate in every way possible. The room was very tidy, spacious and everything in place. The breakfast was varied and fresh. I highly recommend to stay at Akkan Hotel and I will definitely visit again!
