The hotel is great. I was truly not expecting it. The staff is great (Gokhan, Esna, Ahmet) and so many details are included throughout your stay which elevates the entire experience.

Very comfortable hotel at the highest point in Bodrum with panoramic views of the harbor, castle and islands. Our room was well taken care of. Good breakfast options and attentive staff providing excellent service. Beautiful pool, patio and bars. Jazz duo performance by the bar one evening was wonderful. Walking into town was tricky because it's a steep slope and you have to cross a busy highway. The website mentions a shuttle to Flamm Beach which was not operating while we were there. On the other hand, there are some good cafes on Bodrum Beach (e.g Churchill, Deci) when you can set up, eat and swim and relax).

The staff were truely amazing. We are celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and they prepared for us a beautiful floral display on our bed with flower petals and two swan towels in the middle. A few minutes after we entered our lovely room, they came with a bottle of very nice champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Everything was just perfect

Loved this Hotel. The views from the rooms were amazing. The breakfast terrace was exceptional. The rooms were very comfortable with a great terrace overlooking the city of Bodrum. We used the laundry service and out clothes came back folded and in soft plastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside was we had to get a taxi down into the village daily as to far for us to walk there and back.

Room and facilities' Not able to walk out od the hotel, you have to have a car or use a taxi enywere you like to go.

Everything but especially: in house restaurant is Michelin quality, amazing views, good staff, rooms modern and clean. There is an amazing (I believe) 2500 year old Carian ruin of a watch tower in the grounds of the hotel. The pool is beautiful and very well maintained. The hotel have an affiliate beach club to which they have a shuttle bus, which is very nice indeed. The general Bodrum area is quite upmarket and there are many very good bars and restaurants in the area. The location is up a hill which is fine for us won't be for everyone, ultimately you don't get an amazing view without some elevation, just bear in mind it's a 30 min walk so if you have any mobility issues you'll need to get taxis. Hotel can easily order for you. The shuttle bus to the beach club could be more frequent, and also it's on the website as 6.30pm return whereas it leaves at 17.30, small thing but please update the website as we nearly missed the bus one time.

The Marmara hotel exceeded our expectations in every way from the staff, facilities, view and the food. The location was a concern initially for us but that ended not being a problem and ended up being ideal as you are away from the noise of the downtown area. There was nothing we did not like. What a great place!

Excellent hotel with fantastic view. Close to Bodrum Marina and Bodrum Bazar with taxi ride around 5 minutes (250 Turkish Lira). Plenty of restaurants by the sea in the Bodrum Marina. No variety in the daily breakfast. Almost same every day. However it was good.
