Wife loved the pool.

Breakfast was good and location was convenient. I think the stairs either need new carpet or cleaned. Extra toilet paper should be in the bathrooms.

Slow, unhelpful staff and way overpriced for the property condition and amenities. Neither room I booked had a functional TV and talking with other guests we learned that we weren't the only ones.

The room accommodated by children, the pool was wonderful and the night was quiet. Nothing was disliked, all was great.

The bed was ok. The pool facility is falling apart. Rush everywhere on duct work..... unsafe light fixture in hot tub and sauna was completely broke down. This facility should not be $200 + a night.....for that kind of money you should get a better updated hotel.

We found dead ants smashed along the desk in the room, and on the side of the wall, there were light ants in the bathroom, there were stains all over the floor and carpet, there was hair in the bed, the drain in the shower didn’t work, there was no TV button which we had to ask for, the front desk person was absolutely rude. In fact, we had booked to go to Comfort Inn in Salt Lake and we have now changed due to our experience in Boise don’t stay in room 212 at the Vista Avenue comfort Inn horrible hotel pool was disgusting. They need to burn the building down and start over. There is no maintenance on that building and the cleaners don’t clean nor do they change sheets between customers.

A/c wasn’t cold, room had a mildew smell, main hall light didn’t work, water took to long to heat up in the shower, ice maker on first floor didn’t work.

The location was fine, and the rooms were fine as far as cleanliness and comfort o beds. We have already called Customer Service and talked with the representative, Cassandra. Our case # is #13534807. She has all our information and file a report presenting our concerns regarding our stay on July 20th - 22nd. The complaint was focused on the unsatisfactory behavior of the manager-on-duty, Omar. The situation began with us asking why we didn’t have room service with fresh towels, made beds, and shampoo filled (was empty the first day.) He said there is a sign in room saying we don’t get this service without asking according to CHOICE Hotels policy. We did not know this was current policy so had not asked for shampoo, towels, and bed making. We then tried to call him for the receipt # for Cassandra, and he would not answer the phone on 3 tries. Finally someone else answered an said Omar was not available. After resting again, he got Omar on the phone. It is the most negative and unprofessional behavior for a manager that we have ever experienced. We, obviously, will select other hotels in our future.

The hotel management is awful. Very disappointed.

on first arrival, there was still pine hairs, a dirty footprint and somebody's blown booger in the shower. It looks like the entire bathroom was swept under the sink. The closet mirrors both had cracks in them. Toilet seat was barely hanging on shower did not drain properly, ask the front desk about cleaning they handed me a rag and a spray bottle of cleaner to clean the shower that they couldn't clean the first time, two out of the four towels in my room started with stains on them (will not be staying again) have videos of it all as well

Everything was good accept there was no TV in the room, I accept because that was only room available... Everything also was perfect...

Dirty and breakfast lacked items before the closing time. The person serving the breakfast needed more help.

sliding mirror was cracked, ac was cracked, bathroom wasn't scrubbed, stains on the couch and sheets

They were incredibly rude when I asked for clean towels. I had to bring the soaking wet towel to the front desk. A maid took them from me and wouldn’t give me clean ones. Then the front desk acted like I was stealing them. We were 4 people there for 3 nights. I think a set of clean towels would be appropriate but apparently not to them.

Liked it so much I rebooked for August! Room was clean, Staff very customer oriented, excellent breakfast. Nice pool, exercise room. No vending machines, limited drinks and snacks in lobby. Parking only one car allowed..... that is the only bummer.
