Hotel Maxim

The place offers good value for money and continental breakfast included in the price of the stay, as well as private hotel parking, which was something we needed. The location is a bit further from the city center and in the industrial zone, and the bathroom wasn't fully clean, but okay. It was fine for what we expected for the price. We also expected a queen size bed, but got a room with twin beds, however, we were staying for just one night, so we did not make a complaint about the mixup.

Air Conditioner was not working - it was a very old one and the controllers didnt function. Had to complain several times to the reception - but end of the weather was not that hot and I just gave it up. Not recommended :(

The welcoming and care of the staff was excellent, helpful for every need. Room was super clean amd better than expected. We were out for full days and we were constantly back in a clean room. Excellent breakfast choice, for every taste. If you are visiting Bologna, perfect location as city center is a just a single bus and 20min away.

The room was quite big for just me. It had all the normal items one would expect to find in a room. The breakfast was a bit lacking. For example for my cereal I had to ask for some milk in two consecutive mornings. There was only one kind fo juice. Location is a bit out of the way but once you get used to it, it becomes ok. Service from reception was good and efficient. The room is quite large and comfortable but I would have liked to have a kettle to make some coffee. As I already indicated, breakfast was a bit lacking in proper choice as although there were a good number of items, they were few. One kind of juice, you have to ask for some milk and so on. I also noticed that the reception person was also attending to the needs at the restaurand during breakfast. Therefore he was coming and going. If one needed something, one had to go and look for the guy at the reception. Entering to the hotel after 22.30 is via an electronic system with no lights to see the digits. I had to switch on my mobile.

Rooms need a face lift, especially the down stairs rooms

Location was good - close to airport - it was quiet - it had a good breakfast buffet included. After 11:00 it’s self check-in. That was OK but nobody to give us WiFi password, so nonintervention for our international communication útil next morning after 7:30. Room was stuffy and warm. No instructions on operating the AC. Wall control instead of the normal remote. But the window did open. Check out time is way too early. Arriving late due to our scheduled flight, we had to leave the rooms by 10:30 AM. Didn’t like that.

The placement of the hotel was great for us, as it was close to the highway, but we got really easy with the bus to the city. The bus station is right next to the hotel. We also got free parking! The breakfast was good! The hotel itself is a little old. It is clean, don't get me wrong, nothing to complain here. But the passage of time did leave it's mark on it, and not everything is in tip top shape anymore. But it's still worth staying in if you want something cheap.

It wasn't very well cleaned,it's location is not that good -it's as if it's almost in the middle of nowhere, no mirror in the room,the room wasn't in a very good condition.

While this place is dated, it was clean and comfortable. Shower worked well, bed was comfy and breakfast was OK. It was very well positioned to get a bus from across the street that takes you right downtown. And there is free onsite parking in a fenced lot. Perfect for a quick trip to Bologna! Breakfast was OK. They ran out of most things by 8am and it took some time to replenish them.

It's an ideal hotel if you want a room for a night. The breakfast was quite nice! The room had the essentials, comfortable bed and clean sheets. It was the cheapest hotel available so we didn't expect much. The check in was late, starting from 14:00 and the check out very early at 10:00. The building is old. In my opinion the facilities could have been newer. The bathroom could have been cleaner and better equipped. Also there was dust on the floor in some places.

The room was spacious, also the bus stop is right at in front of the hotel. The staff is really nice and helpful. The shower cabin was small. Also breakfast didn’t have much options and there weren’t refills.

Our room had a bedroom upstairs which had poor ventilation, steep stairs. There was very little space inside and sound insulation was also very poor, so we could hear noises from the outside and from the breakfast room early in the morning.

More like an apartment, very specious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was limited but good, fresh croissants, unlimited coffee. The lady in the restaurant tried their best to top up the glassware and cutlery. Beds are very comfortable. For one day it is ok to stay. Really dated apartment, windows don't have the locking system at all, no air conditioning to regulate the temperature, might be difficult to charge your phone even with the adapter due to the old electric system. The breakfast room is very dark and makes you feel old and depressed. No tourist tax change information, you need to pay at the hotel.
