This is not a hotel it’s an Airbnb. Except someone delivers your breakfast and then someone else comes later and cleans up the room. You don’t know to expect these people you’re not sure who they are, but they’re asking for your papers. Then, even if one of you is in bed, they come into the room. So awkward. Should’ve known by the communications. Very insistent over text. They have branded it in a way that makes it seem like it’s a hotel even from the exterior of the building you might be persuaded that this is a hotel. There’s the logo. The statue of David. It seems like a hotel. But it’s not. It was so hot the first night. And the air conditioner wasn’t cooling the room down no matter how many buttons I pressed. That’s because it only works when you’re close to the unit. For the second night, we managed to get the room cooled down. But holy cow that first night was misery. Hard bed, can’t open the windows because of the noise on the street. This is the case of expectations gone wrong. I blame Booking.com. I was filtering by hotels, and they still recommended this place.

I liked everything about this property, from the close proximity to the train station and the ease of checkin (clear text communications with host, phone/codes to enter property) to the comfortable and stylishly modern decorated room (the bathroom sink and shower are particularly unique, including lights on the rain shower head changing color to indicate temperature). Since I had to leave before the usual breakfast time, the host graciously supplied an ample breakfast tray for me the night before. The small balcony with numerous plants was a prefect place to relax with a cup of tea before venturing out to explore the city. And the room’s location on the non-street side of the building made for a quiet, restful nights sleep. This was a far superior experience to the several hotels in which I’ve stayed near the Bologna train station; not a “cookie cutter” place.

The rooms were big and the placement is right beside the train station. The cleaning and breakfast staff was very eager to help and make our stay pleasant. When we came there, we weren't able to call the phone numbers we received or found on the internet, to get in the outer door. We only got in because of a random neighbor. When we got to the apartment door, the code we had received was wrong. After 20 minutes of calling and messaging on Whatsapp, we got in contact and received a new code which worked. The rooms don't have separate doors for the bathroom, only for the bedrooms. That meant that we didn't feel comfortable opening the room door while someone was going to the toilet or taking a shower. The breakfast is predefined and served in each room. We were happy with the variety and the helpful staff, but there was nowhere to eat it. One of the three rooms had a desk. In the other two we had to eat on the bed or use the bedside tables. There were a lot of lights, and none of them properly lighted the whole bedroom/bathroom. It was always a puzzle to find the right switches to turn on/off lights.

We were texted directions on how to access the building and the room. Very good instructions and sending a picture was crucial to finding the right door; We found the hallway lights to be vexing. Several times we could not get them to turn on and had to use our phones to navigate the completely dark stairway; The room was very large and extremely well decorated; we had a coffee maker and refrigerator and a very nice bathroom with a vessel sink; There were many electrical outlets and a small room behind the bed to use for luggage; We were brought breakfast every morning....While not lavish it was good and the lady who brought it was very nice...gave us extra coffee pods While this was a lovely room, it was so dark...wall art was black as well as the paint on the walls. This made the room ---especially the bathroom EXTREMELY dark; the bathroom was lovely with a good shower but we lacked a place to hang towels ; While not a problem for us, there were no English speaking channels on the TV

I had accidentally booked this as a hotel but its a BnB, kudos to Booking.com's stupid Web User interface which doesn't have much differentiation in the Hotel and a BnB. I had to be in constant touch with the host to make sure I could check-in after 5pm and to their credit they made it work. But my review/rating is NOT reflective about it being a BnB since that was my mistake. The reception staff was friendly. The only reason I booked this place was to be close to the train station as I had an early flight and wanted to catch the train to the Airport and that worked out fine. The room is dimly lit, there are some bulbs thrown in here and there as an after thought. There is no AC in Winter, you need to open the windows to the balcony. I went for a walk around the neighborhood and it felt shady to me. The decor of the room is weird. Although your room is private, you will also be sharing this apartment with other folks. The bathroom mirror, the shower and every black accessory in the bathroom wasn't cleaned and had dust all over it. They seem to have multiple properties and so if you go by the address listed on the website, you might end up at the wrong place like me. So wait for confirmation from the host about which property you have been assigned to over WhatsApp/Chat app. The entire building is spooky and there are no lights in the corridor/hallways. There might be a switch somewhere to turn them on but I couldn't find it. So, you need to use the flashlight of your phone to find the elevator or take the stairs once you leave the apartment. Overall, I would not repeat this mistake.

Stylish and confortable, convenient location. Wide rooms with beautiful pieces of furniture. Loved the king size bed.

Easily walkable to central train station. Also, by foot, the street the hotel is on is a straight shot into the center of Bologna. Great shower. Funky decor. A bit quiet and isolated feeling.

Breakfast was served in our room, and was extremely generous and delicious. The location was close to the train station and within a short walk to the historical city center. The apartment was fabulous, decorated around the them of iron—very modern lighting and furniture with elegant wallpaper throughout. Plus there was a small private balcony where you could sit. There is also an elevator in the building to avoid stairs. I can’t think of anything! It was wonderful.

Location, elevator and great breakfast and large shower. The colour scheme was cool but impractical as it was difficult to find black light switches in a dark room!

Great location, close to central train station and within walking distance of old town. Interesting decor. Large bedroom and bathroom.

Hotel was in a great location! 20 minute walk to downtown Bologna and less than 10 minutes to Bologna Centrale! The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was a 10/10. (loved the shower) I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Nothing! It was a great experience.

Everywhere was dusty.

The breakfast was ok. The location served our purpose being close to the Bologna train station. We were given a check in code but the keypad was not working. Had to call the contact number and wait to be let in the door. The elevator malfunctioned which was a bit of a problem.
