Excellent location and gorgeous rooms, really beautifully designed The external toilet was a little inconvenient in practicality but at least it was private I think it might be more convenient to provide robes with external bathrooms to make it easier getting to and from the shower etc

We definitely enjoyed the design of the hotel, as well as being so central in Bologna. The self-served aspect and the cheap choice for breakfast made us feel like we were staying in a hostel rather than in a somehow expensive hotel. Our room was way too warm when we got there and the A/C was not effective enough. The listing led us to believe that parking was included (we had selected "parking" under the desired amenities). We ended up having to park a bit of a distance from the hotel and pay €37 a night!

This is a superb property, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed in. It describes itself as disruptive hospitality, which I think simply means you treat it as your home. There’s a very stylish communal kitchen, equipped with everything you’d need to cook for yourself. There’s also a library and a huge dining area. There are only five rooms so it never feels crowded. Our room (3) faced onto Piazza Galvani on the side, away from the traffic. The bed was extremely comfortable and the aircon was effective, even when it hit 38 C outside. In the kitchen you can help yourself to chilled water, ice, coffee, milk, yogurt, cereal, cake and fresh fruit, any time of day. I think it’s a shame the whole building has automated entry that is linked to an app on your phone. It’s not the fault of the B&B, that’s just how it is. We found it okay but it took several goes initially to get coverage in the street. It also means you must have a working phone with appropriate coverage every time you want to re-enter the property. Sometimes it’s nice to ditch the phone and go without but you cannot do that here! It’s really a minor quibble. We would definitely stay at this glorious property again.

The property is perfectly located in the historic town centre, close to many of the main attractions and restaurants. The property itself is beautifully furnished, clean and spacious with high painted ceilings. It has a communal kitchen and lounge area with various food offerings such as fresh fruit and homemade cake. Communication regarding access to the property on arrival and during our stay was fantastic.

The location is amazing, just steps from Piazza Maggiore and the heart of old Bologna. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. I could not have asked for a better stay. Z

Amazing building that it was a privilege to stay in. The most beautiful room I have ever slept in. I was surprised the bathroom was down the hall but it worked ok.

Beautifully renovated historic guesthouse with big rooms and plenty of shared space. It was great to have access to a kitchen and the provided fruit and snacks were very welcome. It would be good to have labelled sections in the fridge to keep personal drinks and food. A microwave and toaster would also be nice additions to the kitchen.

Beautiful apartment Central location, walking distance to everything in the Old Town Excellant restaurants - on the first evening, Davide booked a table for us at a newer restaurant serving amazing cuisine! Unfortunately at night, university students congregated at a café/bar on the corner just outside the main door to our apartment. The noise level on Friday and Saturday night kept us awake late into the night even with windows closed. After the weekend, it was noticeably quieter.

The property is like a hidden gem. I like how the doors are unlocked using my phone. It was also very clean and it smells amazing. The room was like a museum, we love the balcony and our small living area. The kitchen is well-equipped and the host is generous enough to offer fruits, cakes, alcohol etc. the location is topnotch too. It gets noisy at night when you're trying to sleep because of buses passing by but that did not really matter since we are in the city centre part.

Great location, very comfortable spacious room and ensuite with an excellent shared kitchen, large lounge room and library. Tea, coffee and some simple breakfast snacks supplied with fresh fruit and a delicious fresh cake each day. Secure entry and it felt very safe. Nothing
