Hotel Liberty 1904

The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh towels daily, good Wi-Fi and AC, and a friendly staff. Breakfast offered plenty of variety, and everything worked as expected. The hotel is about a 30-minute walk from Bologna Centrale, with bus routes also available. There was nothing in particular I disliked. Judging against what was promised, everything met expectations.

It was great, good location, friendly staff. The breakfast was more towards the sweet side, but otherwise quite rich and the juice dispenser was quite good.

This would have been a comfy room for a small creature. Jokes aside, the bed is small, the bathroom is even more so. You have to jump over the toilet to get into the shower cabin - what a brilliant design! There were spots on the toilet seat, and I had to clean that with alcohol. Sandpaper, not toilet one. There was mold between the tiles. You take a shower and pray you don't accidentally touch anything.

The only minor downside was the breakfast. It was absolutely fine, but a bit more variety would have made it even better. Other than that, everything was great and we would gladly come back.

The hotel is fine. Breakfast is standard, and the room is clean and sufficiently spacious for two people. At check-in, a younger gentleman was very kind to us. He noticed that we had two separate single beds and therefore offered to adjust the room for us. This was not a problem for us, as unfortunately this was the only option available when booking. Next to the friendly gentleman was an older man who kept whispering things to him in Italian, seemingly hoping we would not understand. However, my wife understood everything. In short, it was not nice and very unprofessional, and it made us feel a bit unwelcome. In the end, it was nothing serious, but this is simply not something one should do.

breakfast was good, facilities were clean, walkable to all the major sights room faced street was very noisy, lots of sirens from emergency vehicles (think it's a medical facility across the street)

Room was ridiculously small and I could hear other guests as if they were in our room... glad we stayed only one night.

I liked that breakfast was included, AC worked great, the room was kept very clean as well. The room was very small for 2 people. We barely had enough room to open our luggage.

The only thing we found odd was the mirror glass above the bathroom. It was disruptive when my husband got up to use the restroom in the middle of the night and the light went through the glass and lit up the bedroom which woke me up. Not a big deal, but it was odd.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It is very close to the bus station and not too far from the center. Cleaned our room thoroughly as well. The room was a little small for three persons, but we knew this from the pictures.

Lovely small hotel, perfect for a short trip in Bologna

The noise insulation in the rooms is terrible. You can hear everything from the other rooms above and either side. From the room I was in on the first floor, everything from reception as well. The breakfast room is small, so there are not many tables and the selection is really disappointing.
