B&B ELDOM

We were a bit suspicious when we finally found the door to this B&B. The only sign was a doorbell between some shops. We thought we would be met by the host, so we waited until check in time at a very good China restaurant called Tang nearby. But once we understood the self check in procedure and were inside it all changed. The room was lovely and the bathroom facilities was clean and nice. There are only two rooms in this B&B so it was a quiet experience. It says free breakfast. The selection is limited but with a few additions from the local supermarkets (Lidl and Spar) around the corner you will be able to make yourself a good breakfast before you head off to see Bologna. The kitchen is well equipped with a big fridge and cooking facilities. There are buses going frequently in the area and the city centre is in walking distance. We loved our stay here! It was hard to find and we wish we had more information before we came.

So convenient from everything, walking distance from and to the train station. My friends were staying at the AC hotels next door and paid almost double! Nothing to complain about, honestly

Doesn't have elevator on the floor of the apartement, you have to climb stairs to reach the elevator and to the door of the apartment so I don't see the prorpose really just avoid a few stairs. And in your arrival with your suitcase, you have to do the 3 floor by stairs because the elavator use a key and of course you don't have it until you get into the apartment.

Communication via Simone's telephone number were poor. No one calls, texts.

Cleanliness Breakfast was not as good as expected

Clean, fairly well equipped, comfortable bed. AC in bedroom inadequate. No living room, sofa etc. Didn't realize the possibility of a roommate in the second bedroom. Elevator key didn't work. A little challenging to find.

Location, close to congress centre. Hallway between different rooms with improper doors in the room. All sounds from the hallway can be heard in the room. Door has glass, so light in the hallway penetrates the room. Breakfast: market croissants, but OK for the purpose of my visit.

A little bit of a walk to downtown because regardless if you take transports or not it takes the same time. Everything was clean and spacious. The bathroom was impeccable. I had not planned to have a person stay over and that unfortunately created some tension with the landlord, she was really impatient for me to pay a fee or she would have opened a case. I understand the situation but it was not brought up properly.

I felt like everyone with a shared wall or floor/ceiling could hear everything that we did, but that is to be expected in an apartment.

Clean, comfortable and easy to entry. Keyless! Super easy.

It’s located near the Train station, has many stores close by It was clean The stove didn’t work There was a tourist tax which were not informed about until checking in. The guy that was talking to us had a very bad communication. “I ask you to pay the tourist tax as requested, otherwise I will have to report the non-payment to the competent authorities, for the receipt you must give me your tax details” I said I want to pay the tax via bank transfer and he wrote this back to me which sounds very intruding and agresive.

Great location, a short walk into the town centre of Bologna. Heaps of restaurants near by so you aren’t short of options. Very cute little apartment with heaps of space for luggage and personal items. Very modern, nice big bathroom, and bonus points for the washing machine! Host was super friendly and a great communicator!
