Mandarin White Sand Boracay

Perfect location . Beachfront and nearby restaurants and souvenir centers. Elevator didn’t work for the daytime and it was hard as my mom needed it badly but the staff were so nice to help and assist us going to 4th floor .

The rooms were cold enough and the staff were excellent. At first the welcoming was awesome with the tv greetings and welcoming treats they even sent night treats as well and it was nice but they were not consistent. I guess it’s an old hotel so defective cabinets, drawers and front doors were expected. The floorboards by the pool were broken. It just looks old as expected. Does not feel like you are in an expensive hotel.the bathroom were elegant in pictures but not practical. They had clear glass doors for both shower and toilet stall with a main sliding door which does not lock. Frosted glass would have been better if privacy was a concern. As for the food there was no variety. Everyday they would serve the same food so expect to eat out if you plan to stay for more than a day at the hotel. They have this part in the buffet that serves raw food that you need to have them cook like pork skewers (BBQ) etc. with no sign saying they were raw. I recommend that they put a sign for people who are not familiar with the kind of food so in short some people accidentally ate it whithout knowing such. The worst of it all is when I had to call one of the staff because there was a cockroach running around the buffet table. That itself speaks a lot about the place. Would I recommend it? Yes and No. YES if you just want to have a moderately priced hotel to sleep in and NO if you expect to feel like you were in a really fancy hotel like they have in their pictures.

really loved that the hotel is right in front of the beach — the view was stunning, and it was so convenient to just step out and enjoy the white sand and crystal-clear water. Nothing

The breakfast buffet was amazing. Staff were soo welcoming. would def recommend. They gave us welcome dessert when we got there,and nightly desserts that they deliver in the room

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Building is old and need an upgrade for the interior design.

Location was great and staffs are friendly. It needs a lot of Maintenance and upkeep of the rooms and property itself. Rooms towels were quite old. Our room Bath gel was empty upon arrival it was never refilled for 3 days.

It’s proximity to the beach, very convenient if you want to take a bath at the beach. Also the place is near to a lot of establishments. Maybe the downside of our stay was the keycard. I think it is better if they provide a minimum of at least 2 keycards per room. One for electricity and one for room access. I understand that the one keycard per room is also a way for the hotel to save electricity when the room is not in use, but it is beneficial for group guests. For instance, it is hard to open or answer the door if someone is asleep, or if someone is at the bathroom doing his/her business. I hope that this rule might change.

It was near the beach and activity area

We stayed at Mandarin White Sand Boracay for 3 days and 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was truly a memorable experience. The staff went above and beyond to help me prepare a wonderful surprise for my wife, which I deeply appreciated. The hotel’s beachfront location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to the beach. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and the overall warm and inviting atmosphere of the hotel. Mandarin White Sand made our anniversary extra special, and we highly recommend it for couples looking for a charming and attentive place to stay in Boracay.

For a 3-star hotel, everything was perfect for a quick Boracay getaway - room was comfortable with cold AC (just be mindful with the humidity so change the settings to dry accordingly); staff were helpful and always friendly; and hotel is beachfront so you really get to take in the Boracay charm The hotel is definitely showing its age but these don’t really change the experience

Staff were attentive. Room was great. Hotel exceeded expectations There were rats in the ceiling that you could hear running around and nawing on the wood at night. Unnerving to think they could jump down on you or scuttle along the floor while you sleep.

We bought the suite with pool but the pool didn’t work so we needed to move to other room The pool wasn’t so good A lot of noise and music until 11 pm sometimes - but every evening

The lunch food was served again for dinner. Then, during our last breakfast, I saw one of the crew members use their apron to wipe the saucer I had requested. It would have been fine if I hadn’t seen it, but it happened right in front of me—when I looked at the crew, that’s exactly what they did. It was very unsanitary.

very accommodating staff. Good location. staff are helpful, bountiful breakfast, and good view at the restaurant.
