Surfside Boracay Resort

I stayed for 2 nights, took a weekend opportunity and came to the island. I arrived very late, it was almost 1 AM but they checked me in without a problem. The room was spacious generally, including the toilet and shower room. I was alone but my room could be enough for a 3 people family (2 people and a child). The location is great, walking distance to all activities and calm enough to chill and enjoy the beach and the great sea. Hotel restaurant and bar area is by the beach, you can sit there and enjoy the fantastic view. There is no umbrella or sunbed (I think this is common generally there) but there is a big tree provides a good shade and also the hotel is very close so you can hang in the bar&restaurant area as well. There is a shower near the entrance. Breakfast looked great, although I couldn't enjoy enough because of my migraine the first morning, and the next morning I went to boat trip skipping the breakfast. The green tea was very nice though, I wonder if it was Japanese, I didn't have a chance to ask. The reastaurant is a Japanese restaurant and the ramen was nice. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the service is good. I'm not sure generally but many rooms are on the back side, balconies facing to the side, and balconies are not spacious, it's not my expectation anyway but it's worth mentioning for the people reading. I wouldn't need the balcony while I have that nice atmosphere in the restaurant&bar area. I wish I could stay more, I feel like it was interrupted in the middle because I had to leave Sunday evening at 6PM to catch my flight. The room is great but when I wanted to sit a little in the balcony, the view around could be better. I mean it's a narrow alley, not much to expect, trees and birds and peacul around are nice, but, the things around could be better maintained and cleaned up from the clutter, creating a more aesthetically pleasing look.

I like the location which is beach front and the breakfast.

It’s a very laid-back place, and I truly enjoyed the ambiance. The location is perfect, especially for those who prefer a quieter and less crowded area in Boracay. None during our stay.

The location was fantastic… quiet in station 1 but close enough to the action. The staff were awesome, the breakfast delicious and the beach right outside the resort was perfect! Everything was great! We stayed in the Ocean suite. Even though it was abit dated, it was truly charming.

Good place next to the beach

Great stay! We had a really nice, big room, clean and practical, with really comfy beds! Breakfast was served in really nice Japanese restaurant within the hotel, and had variety of choices, including Japanese breakfast! The restaurant is basically right at the beach, so it was very nice to sip our coffee/tea in the morning with this great view. Food was really nice too! There is a spa center right across the hotel, and we had a really nice massage there. They also give you beach towels if you need them. I'd definitely recommend Surfside Resort to anyone visiting Boracay. Absolutely nothing!

The room was clean and spacious. The lot was good if you like the calmer area of Station 3. No extra facilities like a pool or chairs for the beach. Also the wait staff at the restaurant were a little slow to come check on drinks.

The location is perfect. It’s beachfront but in a quiet area of the beach.

Close to the beach. Good staff with polite manners Had to fix the air conditioner. But gave us a new room and everything was good

Breakfast was good. Location excellent. Restaurant prices good. Nice quiet area for sleeping. Tuk tuk drop off area a bit far with luggage.

Location - It has beachfront access and the vibes just feel like the old Boracay decades ago. The beach access feels exclusively yours since there's not much crowd compared to Station 1&2. D'mall is a 25-30 minute walk along the shore alternatively, you can walk up Angol Road for 5 minutes to ride an e trike. Breakfast - They offer complimentary breakfast and it's amazing with a lot of variety ? the view ? is also breathtaking. Staff and owner - The staff are all friendly and warm. We even met the owner and their cute little barking dogs by the front desk. WiFi - WiFi is fast and stable given that you're on an island. There are times late at night when it's intermittent but it'll make do. Network coverage in the rooms is zero so if you want to use your mobile data, you can work at the restaurant for a full bar. The rooms are outdated but it adds to the nostalgia on how Boracay was before. It is also kept clean and everything works as it should be. Nothing. Everything is perfect

This is my second visit to this lovely little Boutique Hotel. It is right on the beach and has a fabulous Japanese style restaurant and massage facilities on site. It is at the quiet end of the beach and that part we enjoy a lot. Apparently, Boracay does not allow beach chairs in that part. We wish that lounge chairs would be allowed.

The room is good enough, the beach is very beautiful and staff is very nice. Breakfast was very good.
