Location is great, the host is very helpful and kind. He does everything, including an excellent breakfast. He keeps the place spotless. We were not allowed to snack or drink (except water) in the room.

Our stay was in a beautiful and comfortable room in a lovely villa on a quiet street. It was easy to get into the city by bus to see the sites. The hosts were very nice. They were helpful when we had questions and when we needed any additional assistance. The included breakfast was good and included delicious coffee, breads and croissant, and freshly prepared eggs if requested. The hosts do not allow eating or drinking of anything except water in the rooms. That would have been fine if they had allowed my husband and myself to use the kitchen and refrigerator to store any food we would like to bring back to the house for light snacks or hors d'oeuvres. However, when we asked, we were informed that the kitchen was off limits unless escorted. The location of the Villa is deep into a residential neighborhood, with no cafes or bistros nearby, making it necessary to travel to eat anything between breakfast (included) and going out for dinner (dinner was available at the Villa for additional cost but by reservation with a 3 person minimum required, so not available to our party of 2). That was an inconvenience and it made me feel like a less than welcome and trustworthy guest. It also meant that, aside from breakfast, we had to eat all of our food out. Additionally, perhaps the hosts could ask each guest at breakfast if they would like their room refreshed that day or provide each room with a sign that each room's guests could hang on the door to indicate their preference for that service on a daily basis.

Very quaint, clean, beautiful patio, and great breakfast!

breakfast in the garden was very pleasant and promptly served. The room was large, as was the bathroom.

It was immaculate throughout and kept super clean. It was like a show house. The bedroom had wonderful air conditioning. The host was very attentive and pleasant and the breakfast most enjoyable. No food or drink was allowed in the room. I should have loved a cup of tea or coffee at the start or end of the day!

A really beautiful room and house - the photos don't do it justice. It really did feel luxurious! A truly excellent B&B.

We loved the decor in our bedroom which was spotless. We slept extremely well, a fantastic comfy bed. The bathroom offered great storage and a great shower. We arrived late due to a delayed flight. Patrick very kindly stayed up until 2am to ensure we got to our room etc. Communication was excellent as we kept them informed of our expected arrival time which changed over a 4 hr delay. A menu at breakfast would have been good. We missed hot drinks in our room.

The room was spacious and very clean. Loved the shower and the fact was in a different room. No waiting for your partner and that was great.

The home is beautiful (superbly decorated, extremely clean) rooms are excellent, and breakfast is very good. Bruno and Patrick are very welcoming and helpful. The neighborhood is very residential; beautiful, quaint, and quiet. This is a great option for your stay in Bordeaux - I would definitely come back. You will have room cleaning every day - which I did not realize and left my items unpacked and all over the bed (sorry Bruno!) - so probably best to clean up before leaving for the day. Some people may find this a bit invasive but I very much appreciated. I was given a key (as I understand all guests are) and thus was able to come and go as I pleased. Worth noting that, as can be seen on the map, the location is a bit further from the historic center (~20 min. walking). However, it is quite easy, cheap, and quick to get into town via the local integrated transit network (bus stop 200 feet away) which can be done from your phone.
