Hotel Vallechiara

Views from the hotel were really good at the expense of hotel location - 4km up the Bormio2000 climb, so really fitting only if you travel by car or for cyclists. The atmosphere was really calm and relaxing - spectacular, compared to other hotels downtown in Bormio; pure enjoyment in the afternoon with some beer after doing Stelvio and Umbrail passes by bike. BTW, they have a bike stand installed right before the front door! Would gladly return there. We ate the dinner in hotel restaurant, which I'd rate average both for menu selection as well as food quality. The breakfast, on the other hand, was solid. I recommend paying for dinner separately without adding to the room bill, we had an 18 extra EUR mistake charged, which we promptly solved at the checkout, but still worth noting.

Location and staff were great. The views were stunning and the place was really lovely. Although we enjoyed our time, we found that the accommodation was fairly expensive for the facilities and services offered.

We loved this hotel so much! The food was fantastic and the views, breathtaking. Expect a bit of narrow roads coming in and a bit of traffic going out but soooo worth it!

This family owned and run property was a delight from start to finish. Wonderful base from which to enjoy daily motorcycle trips. View is to die for and as a bonus, their restaurant is excellent. The drive up to the hotel is very tricky at the end, largely due to the very poor condition of that road segment. Extra challenge for bikers.

Great location on top of slope. Run by a wonderful family. Great bar. Breakfast not so stellar. Also good improve road signage.

Staff is welcoming and professional. My room was comfortable (especially the bed and shower).

Great hotel, cozy, warm, atmospheric. the staff is very kind and welcoming. exit directly to the slope and the lift for children, as well as the lift to 2000. I am very pleased with the hotel and will return to it next time. I can't name any downsides. The only thing is that only in the combined room in the corridor the light is automatic, but I would add the option of completely switching it off.

Amazing view from balcony, nice and clean room! Reccommended! Lights are missing in the parking area and it could be dangerous with ice.

The hotel is in a quiet and picturesque place with spacious, clean and cozy rooms, windows and balcony had amaizing mountain views, big comfortable beds. 3 mins walk to the ski lift. Delicious breakfast and their restorant definitely worth visiting for dinner. Enough parking places for everyone. It's a place we would love to visit again!

The views were spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was nice but sometimes ran short on prepared food at breakfast but I guess that can also be commended in an effort to reduce waste. The location and views are well worth the visit.
