Wingate by Wyndham Bossier City, LA

There's not a lot of good things to say about this (hotel) motel. My stay was 3 nights, the first night I was woke out of my sound sleep by the smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke from the hallway. In the morning, the breakfast was below expectations. The eggs were fake eggs, and the sausage patties were hard as a rock. They had some kind of gravy boiling in a crockpot for biscuits and gravy but it was so runny and hard cooked I just passed on it. The most annoying part of my stay was the elevator. The thing shimmied and shaked at each floor. Not a safe feeling for a paying customer to experience. In my opinion, this is one of the worst places to stay in the country. Just avoid it all together.

Staff was super nice. The room was clean but needed touch up paint in places. Breakfast was good too

Nice, quiet and private location

Good place and close to board walk.

Free breakfast and parking. Sometimes there nobody in the front desk. Have to wait for help. But the staff was helpful.

I loved everything about this hotel

Carpet in room was worn. Some paint was chipped & bed skirt was torn. NO Coffee pot in room.

If you don't mind older hotels with old carpet and not so perfect maintenance. This is the hotel for you. If you like barely any water pressure this place is also for you. Not so good smell in the whole hotel. Great price for what you get.

The ladies on the desk Tuesday, June 14, at about 6:00 p.m. were so helpful in helping us find a place to eat. We wanted something specific and they were able to suggest a place that turned out to be very good!

The picture windows made so easy to see around town the location was beautiful and the beds were very clean and comfortable I enjoyed the shower pressure and great verity of food items for breakfast the pool was nice and inviting

The hotel needs to be renovated.

Be aware if you stay here they will charge you a smoking fee 7-9 days after you check out saying they found evidence that you were smoking in your room. I don’t smoke and have never smoked but they charged me $250 saying I did. Don’t stay here!

Elevator problems made it a bit hetic

The guy at the desk was great! Stayed the 20th to 21st. Absolutely a reason to visit again, especially when they treat you like family. The one they like.

Mostly clean room other than a stained side chair. Only issues were a running toilet all night and no body wash in the dispenser. But overall clean quiet and comfortable

10/10 overall I would recommend

Very nice staff. The AC kept freezing up.
