Rips Country Inn

I have stayed here many times and for the price you really can’t complain. However, we only had two bath towel towels, one washcloth and no soap. I tried to get in touch with the staff, but they did not answer so I just went to the dollar store and bought what I needed. Again for the price it can’t be beat. Just know you’re not in a Hilton.

Convenient, quiet, and a restaurant right next door.

The entire experience was horrible. Rude staff who pushed me out in the morning without giving me a chance to speak. I was going to get another two nights out of pure need but it was so not worth it I literally went and slept outside on the ground and had a better time. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to and they have roaches and bed bugs.

The front desk lady wasn’t very helpful. No explanation of WiFi password or returning of key Expected better quality property from hotels.com

Room was extremely outdated. Carpets are disgustingly filthy, unclean scent.

Don't care about nearby shops--room was very shabby and dingy.

The mattress was DISGUSTING. Honestly, if you need a place to sleep for a night, you can do better. It looks like they're just letting the place fall into disrepair.

This was the worst hotel I ever went to from the beginning. It was bad first of all. I went into the room. It smelled musty I had to leave the door open as I'm walking around spraying. Lysol, I noticed how dirty the rug was and stained the rug was. I noticed the only chair in the room was dirty and stained. I made my way to the beds to spray them and the sheets on one of the beds at the head was stained. Then, I went into the bathroom to spray, and the toilet seat had urine on it. When I went back Back to the front desk, the lady would not give me back a refund, said I had to reach out to expedia. Expedia should be embarrassed to even have this place as some place that they represent on their website.When I reached out to expedia, they said they cannot give me a refund.Needless to say I did not stay at that hotel for more than five minutes.I booked at another hotel through another app, and it was a hundred percent better.It sucks that a big company like expedia.Wouldn't refund me my money for a place that they recommended?That was so disgusting

I would ask for cups in the bathroom for water, etc.

The staff was helpful, despite having to ring a bell and speak through a window. I was pleased to have a microwave and refrigerator. The bed comfortable enough. The carpet was disgusting as well as the vinyl flooring by the sink. I have stayed at less expensive properties that were in better condition.

Definitely i will come back.

Not worth the money

Room rate kinda high considering this is a no frills property. Room was clean but no place to hang my clothes. The closet clothes hanger bar was broken and missing. Guests next door were loud and paper thin walls. The location for what I was doing and who I was visiting was good. Easy access to DC, Baltimore and Annapolis.

Needs more in renovations. No shower toiletries.

Had to find an inexpensive room for me and three other men and Rips was it. Bed was comfortable and the night manager/owner was very accommodating. If I’m in the area again I will stay there again.

The room was full of stink bugs. I spent a majority of my night trying to get rid of them. I could hear them flying around me while I tried to sleep. I saw several of them crawling all over the walls and ceilings. It was disturbing and made it hard to sleep.
