Beautiful, well-maintained historic inn at the center of Brandon. Room was very quiet and clean. Within walking distance of everything. Great place!

This inn dates from the 1700s! During breakfast the owner served fresh-baked croissants. The restaurant fare was tasty and very reasonably-priced. Friday and Saturday nights features free live piano in the ballroom.

This hotel is beautiful inside and out and located in the heart of town. The guest rooms were very clean and super spacious , the bed was very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was good. Although the staff person who checked us in was noticeably busy as she was also serving at the cafe, it was just a short wait to get us checked in and she was very pleasant. I would absolutely stay here again!

When I booked this room, I did not realize the historical significance of this inn. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The structure itself is very old, but they have done a lot of remodeling to make the room and facilities nice and comfortable. It's like something out of a time capsule. It was such a thrill to get to stay in such an historic place. Would definitely stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Brandon Inn. I loved the charming atmosphere and my room was very nice. It was nice having a continental breakfast available each morning. The staff was helpful and answered all my questions.

I've been fortunate to have traveled here in the U.S. and abroad, many times. The Brandon Inn reminds me so much of hotels and inns I've stayed at throughout Europe....clean, accommodating and genuine. My wife and I have stayed here several times and we enjoy it - and the area - very much.

Beautiful classic hotel. Very comfortable and quiet mini split AC in room. Would come back!

It was a wonderful time. Our only problem was the lack of regular use of the elevator. We were on the 4th floor, didn’t realize that would be an issue when we booked. Everything else was wonderful. Hope we can come back (on the second floor)!

Charming, well kept, great staff. Everything you could hope for in an historic inn in Vermont.

Great little place in a lovely little town. Would stay there again.

It was wonderful!!

The property was excellent. Very old inn well maintained, looks almost new. I'd recommend it to all. There is an elevator but is operated by the staff. Old style manual controller.

The vibe here is very mellow, though. Management intend for you to be able to access your room with a code you would have received by text. This sort of arrangement does not work well when booking with Expedia, so expect to meet or talk to staff. The hotel is lightly staffed, but we never had a problem finding them and they were pleasant. If mobility is a concern, the historic elevator is staff-operated on request. The pool is an unexpected amenity here. I used it and very much enjoyed it. The breakfast was well provisioned, but it was unusual to see the entirety of it laid out the night before. If I were managing this place, I would employ a person to arrive in the morning to lay out the breakfast. It seems more appealing and a better food handling practice. Additionally, it was unwelcome to find a staff member operating a noisy shop-vac type device to remove crumbs from the area around the toaster oven during normal breakfast hours. Overall, this was a pleasant place to stay.

The food at the hotel was great. Very friendly staff. Pool was great. Very old. Floors were a bit creaky. The bathroom was okay. The bathtub was very old fashioned. Be careful when getting out. It is dangerous, I almost tripped. Warning the bathtub is very steep. The cold water knob was loose so they had to fix it in the bathtub. That was the only downside. Overall the hotel was a great stay. Very peaceful. Breakfast not the greatest. Go to Mae's place, right outside near the hotel. That place has eggs, bacon, waffle, french toast, pancakes. The good breakfast you want with fresh Vermont pure maple syrup. A few doors down there is a gourmet place where you can get great coffee. There chai latte is great. The pizza is amazing. The food in Vermont is not very salty compared to NYC. I enjoyed my stay for sure and I had stayed an extra day. Would definitely go back. Just wish the bathtub and shower were more modern. Overall the hotel is beautiful and well maintained.

Very quaint, old-time charm. The decor is tired and old, and yet that’s part of the charm.

Beautiful historic inn! We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the pool, the walk ability in the village and the wonderful staff. We did eat dinner at the inn, and that was the only part of our stay that was not the best. I hope that we get back to this part of Vermont, I would love to stay at the inn again.

The attention to the lodging and building is astounding. Charming. They are also now serving what appears to be a lovely dinner. The beds are a bit too firm-not quite luxurious enough to warrant High End feel...there is a need to re-visit updates in shower heads--Nice rainfall one-but some stability issues! I Love this place--and the peaceful pool! They took away some of the courtyard seating--or just moved it around? The patio needs a bit of love for those beautiful planters!! But it is a wonderful place!!!

The onsite restaurant. The menu in the room didnt match the menu that was given at the restaurant - staff said they recently changed menus. I had an expectation of a meal at an historical inn and was sorely disappointed. The food was blah, the meat was chewy. Again nothing to identify who staff was or wasnt. My expectation wasnt met and that is on me.

The shower and breakfast weren't the best but the building was really nice, very well located. Loved our family room. Really appreciated the mini-split air conditioning on a very hot weekend! We would definitely stay there again.
