It was very clean inside the rooms and the lady that checked us in was very nice. We would definitely go back and stay again.

Location was pretty good. Front desk attendant was very nice. Bathroom was very small. The overall cleanliness of room was a little disappointing.

Wonderful location! Easy into and out of, even though you’re in the heart of the Ozark’s and Branson, MO! The property is lovingly cared for-that’s immediately noticeable, so you obviously know the rooms are going to be as well, too, and they were WONDERFUL! Very up to date, but at a “country feel” to them as well! We had adjoining rooms so that our grandchildren could join us and the manager placed us in rooms next to one another with an adjoining door! The pool, patios, and availability to BBQ grill (s) yes, plural! is just as great as it gets! Not a thing actually! They sure couldn’t do a thing about the oppressive heat the entire country has been under (that’d be the only thing…lol), but the sparkling blue swimming pool took care of that!

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. While the staff and facility were great. There was a family reunion taking place during our stay at the resort and we were not able to utilize the pool, grill area or patio area during our stay.

Location Had to buy pool towels. No hair dryer

The location was very convenient to get to all the attractions. The rooms were just like the pictures. There seemed to be an odor that reminded me of a room that's been closed up and needed to be aired out.

Air conditioning worked great, room was clean, staff was super friendly and to room was great for our dog.

We enjoyed the pool and having the kitchenette. Parking right by the door was great. It was convenient for bringing our two spaniels. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is really small with no hooks to hang clothes or towels. It would have been helpful to have a hairdryer.

We stayed at Hunter’s Friend Resort and had such a wonderful experience! The location is unbelievable — we were able to get to Silver Dollar City with zero traffic, which is practically unheard of. The resort is surrounded by water, and it made for the most peaceful morning walks. We even walked over to the Floating Café for breakfast, which was so close and convenient, and it saved us from waiting in long breakfast lines in town. The owners were incredibly kind and even upgraded our room since they weren’t fully booked this weekend, which we really appreciated. Our room had a nice kitchenette, was very clean, and you can tell they really care about the property based on all the thoughtful upgrades and maintenance. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

The room was very clean. The beds were acceptable. The property is old and feels cramped into the lot. The bath water was nearly muddy. Rust color tinged with an odor. After the tub drained, there was a layer of rust color sediment on the sides and bottom. Inadequate hot water. This property is listed as a resort, but there is nothing “resort like” about it.
