The breakfast was very good and complete. The hotel is elegante and the room was very large with a very comfortable bed. The access from the large garage to the rooms is very easy. The hotel is next to the Bürgerpark and close to the historic center of Bremen.

I love this hotel. Great rooms, great breakfast, great bar, great pool. Very convenient location, close to the main train station and I could go jogging in the huge neighboring park. My only complaint is that the pool does not open until 8 am. It would be great to be able to get in an early swim before breakfast.

People working in the hotel were super friendly and caring about needs and questions. The breakfast is a recommended experience worth it !! The choice satisfy all kind of needs and waiters pay really attention to satisfy every single request. Super fresh food is constantly served, and breakfast service is high professionally handled in a discrete way. The hotel and the room were super clean. The location is 7 minutes walking behind the train station. However there are two weak points to improve absolutely in this four stars hotel : they have no adapter for sockets for international customers and there is a limited availability of the restaurant service. In a 4 stars hotel with restaurant the opening hours should be way longer. There is no access in the afternoon neither the restaurant nor the bar.

Fitness Studio is extremely small. In fact, only 3 pieces of equipment are down there. Mini bar in the room was empty.

This is probably my 10th or 12th time staying at the Maritim in Bremen. I travel to Bremen once a year to perform and usually stay here for some of my stay. This year, I had three separate stays, and I was in three different rooms throughout September. While I am a fan of breakfast, I am typically just a toast and tea in the morning person, and so the price for breakfast is steep for me. I'm a traveling musician, and it adds up quickly. Having free parking was a huge plus. In the past, that has been a significant factor in my decision to stay for fewer days; this time, it was nice not to have to worry about that added expense. As always, the bar food is delicious. I look forward to getting the schnitzel when I am there. And I love the showers. I get very excited about staying here for the showers alone. My wife is tired of me talking about how much we need to get the pressurized overhead shower like at the Maritim. Like I said in the previous post, I am a fan of breakfast, but as I don't eat much in the morning, it is a steep price for me to pay to make a pot of tea. I tried making tea in my room, but it is only a coffee maker, and I couldn't figure out how to boil water. Also, in one of my rooms, the refrigerator did not work so the milk I bought for my tea went bad in one day. My only other complaint was when I was in the room... I think it was 221. The odd numbers are on the inside of the building, and in this room, I couldn't get the AC to work, so I opened up my window, and all the cigarette and marijuana smoke from the loading dock came up and into my room. As I don't smoke either of these things, it was very unpleasant. When I told the staff, they were quick to change me to another room but it was quite unpleasant. It's also the first time I've ever asked to change a room anywhere.

They give only give one bottle of water for 2 guests,no coffee or tea packets available in the room . No hot cattle available in the room ,we have to call the reception and you get one ...

Clean, friendly staff, great location, easy walk to the park and train station. Wish the indoor pool was heated.

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and the large windows brought in a lot of natural light. It was very quiet, the lighting was perfect for falling asleep, and I really enjoyed the sauna and pool. Nothing in particular.

The hotel has a good value for the quality it provides. The breakfast is good and affordable. There is a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, etc. Overall, good bedroom Installations at a fair price. Unfortunately my room didn't have an air conditioner. My stay was during summer, so the nights were just too warm to sleep comfortably. The staff provided an extra fan, but it doesn't replace room climatization.

Close to a beautiful and very large park. Very good breakfast.

Everything was OK and I was lucky to be in a quiet room. Also nice is the vicinity to a park and some good restaurants at about 20 mins walking distance through the park. It's also quite close to the main station. The hotel has made a few odd decisions (partially related to savings); most annoying was that there was no black or peppermint tea in the room, only a Nespresso gadget with a vile type of Earl Grey tea. I was able to get some peppermint tea from the bar, but no black tea. Showercaps and other things can be obtained at reception - but once you are undressed, you aren't likely to down and get them, are you? Also, if you decide to participate in the sustainability option, be warned that that also means that no cups are exchanged and no provisions restocked.

The family suite was very large, comfortable, and well-equipped. Great shower and bathtub, even a bidet. Excellent breakfast. Our family loved the pool. Great location for exploring the city.

Good room, nice shower They didn't tell us the pool was not available beforehand and we specifically booked this also for the pool for our kids.
