Canal Suites

I loved being able to look out the window and see a canal. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The coffee machine was appreciated. We didn't receive notice on where to go to check in. It would have been nice to have had a notice posted by the hotel door.

I love the location! Close to the main square , but at the same time quiet. Staff were very attentive and informative. The bathroom switches need to be look at. Some adjustments needed to be made at the bathroom sinks (hot water facet). Updating rooms and keep up with maintenance, because is a lovely location. Bed semi comfortable and pillows need to be replaced.

Amazing room right next to the canal. Very helpful staff. Parking lot was close to the rooms. The room didn't have a small fridge. The bathtub didn't have a curtain to keep the water from getting into the bathroom floor.

Great location. Enjoyed the fires in the room but the glass needs to be cleaned so you can see the flames of the gas fire Rooms were tired and the cooling / heating did not work

This is one of the best hotels I've been. The staff, location and room were amazing.

Loved the location. Room overlooking the canal. Enjoyed watching the boats go by. Additional space for the second suitcase.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Marlin checked me in and she made me feel very welcome and at home, she showed me all the sites that I should see, tips, and she even booked a really good restaurant for me. If I go back, will definitely stay here again

We were looking for a room that overlooked a canal near the city center that had on-site parking. the Bord eau canal suites met all of the needs. The seven room are each decorated differently in historic furniture. Bath had shower/soaker tub and twin sinks. Check in at the Hotel de Swane across the canal. The reception desk there was very friendly and helpful in recommending what to see and were to eat off the square. Would stay again when in Bruges Everything was perfect. There could have been a bit more light in the room as it was a bit dark at night with the drapes drawn.

Such a romantic and beautiful stay. We enjoyed the view over the canal also the fire place was the highlight of our visit. Great atmosphere and clean room. The lady on the reception desk was very friendly.

The ladies at the front desk were exceptionally nice and out-going, the location is stunning...we just looked out our windows down to the canal. The rooms were all unique and charming. And it's close to EVERYTHING. I wish I had read the instructions better on where to drive to check in since the hotel we stayed in is actually part of a separate building where you check in at. Not their fault, though, since they had put it in the initial email, but I'd forgotten it by the time we arrived.

Location and size of the room. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Staff was amazingly helpful. The bed was not good. Saggy. Shower was also difficult to use as it was set up in a tub and made a mess with water

Great room in a nice location overlooking the canal. The suites are separate to the main hotel meaning a short walk from reception but not too far. Overall very pleasant.

This is an absolutely amazing choice! Bruges is beautiful, and this hotel is right by one of the canals! The furnishings, the bathroom, the SPACE (in Europe!) was unbelievable. It was so romantic, quiet and easy! The person who checked us in was beyond helpful and friendly! Honestly, nothing. It's behind a restaurant bar and seems a little weird at first, but you check in over the bridge. Clearly they have brought a nearby property and renovated it. Oh, and to be fair, the canal "cruises" start early, so if you want to sleep in past nine, close the windows and curtains.
