Hotel Van Eyck

The staff were very sweet and helpful. We had an early morning flight and accidentally left a box of handmade chocolates that my dad had made in the hotel refrigerator. The staff wasn’t even scheduled to start until 10:00 AM, but they went out of their way to come in around 7:00 AM so we could retrieve them before leaving for the airport. There was no AC so it would get a little hot.

Great location close to city square. Hotel is very small and quaint in an old converted building. Room 8 was on the second floor of a spiral 40 step staircase. Doorway was tight and difficult to open. Room was small with full windows allowing afternoon sun to heat room to unbearable temperatures. With no air conditioning sleep was difficult. Open windows means street noise replaces heat and makes sleep difficult. Amenities are basic.

Great location, great staff and comfortable. Only regret not taking the breakfast, it semelled divine!

The hotel has a perfect location in the heart of Bruges. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was charming and authentic. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Nothing in particular. Everything was very pleasant.

An excellent and pleasant hotel in the center of Brugge. Nice renovations, excellent design. Comfortable after a long drive or walk. Pleasant and attentive staff. The breakfast was wonderful, even downright amazing. We were extremely happy to stay at this hotel. We definitely recommend it!

The hotel has an excellent location, close to the city center. The staff member Anna was friendly and attentive, and she provided helpful information about the city. The room was comfortable, with a cozy bed and hot water. the breakfast was tasty, but considering the price, it could have offered more options (or been a little cheaper).

Very good location, the rooms are nice, everything is clean and cozy. The staff was really helpful and nice. Rooms might be a bit small. However, for us personally without big luggage that was not an issue, so we liked the stay. Also, it is important to check the check-in times — the reception is not always open.

Great location. Nice cute old house converted to a hotel. Very pleasant stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Immersion experience in the center of Bruges. The hotel does not have the facilities of a big modern hotel (double windows, elevator,) but it is totally worth it staying in that building!

Awesome location and clean facilities. Toilet location in family suite was a little awkward for larger adults, but we made it work.

No elevador and a bit old structure, but that was not a problem.
