A very cozy hotel with excellent stuff who helped us changing the dates of our stay. We had great conversations with the owner who is also running a cozy wine spot in the front of the hotel. The location is very good, parking no problem. The Cathedral to Naumburg (Dom zu Naumburg) and the city on the inside of the inner ring is in walking distance

The staff was super helpful. Although we had difficulty with check-in, the host provided a superb apartment stay. We still came to the hotel for breakfast included. It was a wonderful traditional German cold breakfast. Everyone in the facility was courteous and friendly and so eager to please. The owner speaks English, but staff only German. They slowed it down for us. We ate dinner in the restaurant. Fabulous! It's an inspiring location, steps from everything, with a cozy outdoor dining area facing the ivy-covered hotel. When we arrived, the hotel did not have our reservation from Booking.com. There was no room for us. The hotel owner honored our confirmation and gave us an apartment, which was more distance from the city center. We were disappointed not to stay in a centuries old hotel.

We were allocated Room 8, an attic room at the very top of the hotel, accessed by several steep flight of steps. There was air conditioning and a portable fan available due to the temperatures. The view from the room was of the cobbled street and seating area below. In the evening, we sat outside in the hotels seating/dinning area. Food was tasty Staff were friendly and helpful. The several steep flights of stairs to get to the room. No mention of this on the Booking.com hotel description. Parking is in a public parking area. We parked our motorcycle on the cobbled street outside the hotel. There is a pay and display ticket system in place and only takes cash payment. The instructions were not clear.

Friendly and helpful staff My booking, even though it was already paid for, was not registered at the hotel. Luckily there was a no show, otherwise I would not know what we would have done.

Big modern bathroom, sleeping room with a big table and enough room to comfortably lounge around in, and a great location. Excellent food in the restaurant.

The room was spacious, staff very helpful, position good *& we had breakfast and dinner there ... both were very nice. Highly recommend.

A beautiful and rustic room. The cleanliness and size of the room. Great shower. A nice traditional bar and restaurant. A decent cold breakfast that was made of cheese and meats. Climbing 4 flights of stairs -no good if climbing stairs is a problem.
