The staff were wonderful. We loved the breakfast they served. They made sure we were all set up comfortably. I couldn't figure out how to get the hot water in the shower to work. That might have been my idiocy and I don't blame the owners.

Lovely quiet location and easy to find. Dog friendly and they meant it rather than just saying it. Locals were in with dogs as well as overnight guests and it was a really welcoming and friendly atmosphere. To top it off the food and beer selection were exceptional and the staff were attentive and really lovely people. If I had to make a suggestion is would be for the food portions to be a little smaller to make room for the beer ? personal preference

We were unaware that the full English was not included in the price of the room when booking, but pleased to find a continental was. Unfortunately the continental breakfast was very disappointing, only providing cereal and toast.
