Excellent housekeeping staff. Good breakfasts. Ocean views. Fair price. Quiet but only brief walk to shops and restaurants. Room decor needs to be enhanced…..white or bright colours on walls. Attractive bedspreads. Decorative art on walls.

The location by the sea Rooms were a little small, parking lot is narrow, hard to navigate

Close to the national park. Uncomfortable rooms (worse than in pictures), seems like they were designed a long time ago and never thought about again. Found a big dead millipede on the bathroom floor. No filtered water is provided, no fridge access. Shared kitchen (that is not officially part of the booking but can usually be used- also poorly equippped) had a really bad rotting smell, like an animal died in there a while ago, and no one had noticed. They inspected it with masks after we told them. It was our most expensive but least pleasant stay out of all in Costa Rica. Would generally not recommend.

Great location near the sea, town and national park. comfortable bed, all round, a good place to stay

Breakfast is served in the covered dinning area with the view of the sea. The pool should be cleaned more often. Surrounding trees loose a lot of leaves. The rooms and bathrooms are pretty outdated.

Liked sitting outside the front of the rooms with the view of the sea. Breakfast was nice, they alternatate between scrambled eggs, ham & cheese and scrambled eggs with rice & beans. The latter was the better option. Kitchen facilities were limited. No loungers around the pool

Nice location - a little out of town so quiet and next to sea so had nice view of beach whilst having breakfast We had some problems with flushing the toilet - the staff did make every effort to help fix this but it did impact our enjoyment of staying at this property. We also had an additional bed in the room (as we were 2 travellers and needed a bed each). The second bed was v small And not that comfortable. The pool was nice But is tiny! For the price we were expecting a little more.

The room and bed were very comforable, the wifi was excellent. We loved the breakfast that was included. The staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. The pool was a blessing, very clean and refreshing. The cabinas are a very short walk into Cahuita and near the National Park, and bus station. We took the MEPE bus from San Jose and it stops in Cahuita. We will definately return! Nothing, everything was good.

The location and the cleanliness of the rooms and most of the facilities were fantastic The owners of the property were hard to locate, and if you did see them, I felt like I was really disturbing them. They had a community kitchen, but to us it was unusable..

Nice and free accommodation right by the ocean. The rooms were cosy and clean. Nice garden with lots of possibilities to relax. The breakfasts were tasty. The hotel is a short walk from Chauita National Park and Playa Negra Beach. I highly recommend the accommodation.

A really nice view for a really good price range.

Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. Excellent location and can walk to many restaurants and bars. Also very close to Playa Negra. The national park is only a few minutes down the road as well. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Noise carried through the walls. Parking is really tight and not too easy to back out of.

Property was cozy and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast with a view! Location was great and within walking distance to Cahuita Park. Staff was very friendly
