it was a great experience Cleanliness was maintained the staff were very friendly the food was good but could have been better especially the in room service food that we ordered

The breakfast had a decent spread. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We arrived around 11 p.m. after a long flight and ended up waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes, only to be told our room wasn’t ready. The staff appeared utterly confused and there seemed to be a clear lack of coordination. Eventually, we were placed in a hastily prepared temporary room and assured that our proper room and luggage would be sorted by 11 a.m. the next day. Trusting this, we went out and returned around 2 p.m. to quickly shower and change before our 4 p.m. tour, only to be made to wait yet another 30 minutes in the lobby, and then informed that the room was still not available. In the end, it felt like we spent more time waiting in the lobby than actually being in our room. We were clearly not the only ones affected, and " general chaos" seemed like the theme of the hotel.

Good location, within walking distance of most things. I really dont like leaving negative reviews but I have to be honest. Here’s a list of things I noted whilst staying. If you pay in cash don’t expect them to have any change. Every night was the same Rooms were cleaned through the day for the first few days then had to ask and they would turn up at 7pm to clean when we were in Rude reception staff Nikita, was told to sit down when trying to check in. Not the cleanest of places and certainly not Marriott usual standard. The room on our arrival was not a good standard of cleanliness. Breakfast is chaotic, no clean tables, always running out of things, the demand out weighs the supply, we eventually gave up. The pool is small and in the shade the majority of the day. And only around 6 sunbeds, hence we didn’t have any pool days. Key deprogrammed regularly. We would get up to the room after a day at the beach and not be able to get in and have to go back down 6 floors to reception. This happened numerous times during our stay. Tables round the pool never seem to get cleaned even though there are members of staff stood around. Feels dirty and grubby. Ask for an ashtray and you get a dirty one with someone else’s dock ends still in it. Returned from the beach one day and took a shower, only to find they had been in and taken the dirty towels and not replaced them. Not ideal having to dry yourself with your beach towel. We were asked how our stay was when checking out. I replied that it was just ok and that I would leave feedback. He wanted me to give him feedback there and then and asked that we give a 9 or 10 as this is good for the hotel! Sorry but I am not going to lie. When booking a hotel the first thing I do is read the reviews as I am sure most people do. People want them to be honest.

The property to well maintained and the staff was very welcoming and pleasant - the breakfast had a very large variety of foods He only issue was that the breakfast s mostly catered to local residents and not much of a choice for international tourists

The quality of service has gone down a bit - probably because of new year

One outstanding staff member mainly worked at the pool. He was cheerful, kind to children, helped guests swim, and even tracked down waiters since no poolside service was available. I truly hope he finds a role where his efforts are properly valued. I was relieved to leave. Twelve nights felt far too long in a hotel with rude staff from the moment I walked in, poor food hygiene, uncomfortable seating outside and unclean facilities.

We had a very good experience. The property is well maintained. The rooms are perfect. Even the staff is very courteous and helpful. Special thanks to Monalisha & Tanisha for their sweet gestures and hospitality. Room can be more spacious.

The staff was cooperative and even went above and beyond to make our newlywed couple group feel special. They provided complimentary cake and small decorations, which were a delightful touch. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail from “Timothy” and the manager in reception, who acknowledged my feedback. The breakfast menu was limited, lacking salads( lettuce ) While the food was fresh, there was only one meat option available. Normally, they should have two to three meat options, along with curry and fried items like onion bhaji, prawn, fish curry, and Goan curry. Unfortunately, none of these were included in the breakfast menu. The Fairfield Marriott hotel’s property is surprisingly small, even the coconut tree, which isn’t part of the hotel, is situated on the road. The rooms are compact and most of them are of the same size. As a Marriott hotel, it doesn’t exude the opulence one would expect for a short stay of 1-2 days. The property appears larger in pictures, but in reality, it’s quite limited. To make matters worse, the washroom behind room #305 had cockroaches, and I took a photo to inform the staff. Upon entering the room and balcony, we were met with an unexpectedly small space. The food options were limited and uninspiring. Overall, I was quite disappointed with my 3-day stay. The pictures on the website and booking.com portray a lavish setting, but in reality, it’s just ordinary. ***A partial or full refund would be a fair resolution to our unpleasant experience, along with other couples who were not very satisfied with the service provided by Fairfield Marriott.**

Location and transportation facilities

Great Breakfast and Dinner as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice location, close to most the tourist places in Calangute including the Calangute market.

Property is nice n clean. Good value for money. Very compact, small rooms. Food is avg. supplies in the room were not sufficient. We had to keep asking for it

Location Food rates were equal to hotels and resturants in Las Vegas and burj Khalifa. Very very very costly. You have to sell your house to order any food from your room.

Wonderful property. The staff is very helpful and well trained. Deepak sahu, the F&B manager makes sure to ask each and every guest regarding their preferences and ensures that they are provided the best quality service. Everything was just perfect.

Nothing First of all the distance mentioned 800 meter from the beach in the location of hotel should be removed in fact it’s more than 3000 meters. It’s absolutely cheating to mention the distance from the beach is only 800 meters , which was the only factor we selected this property.
