Even after check out time they kept our items safely in their cloak room. We would surely recommend others even to come and stay here.

Location Good behavior

The location is superb - even though the entrance js on a busy street, the room was quiet, clean and air conditioned. The shower - even though it was clean, the bathroom would get all wet, including the floor after the shower

I love YMCA Calcutta

Location

Nice, attentive staff, great rooftop patio restaurant, decent rooms and reasonable rates. The noise from traffic and dogs at night is always there but you get used to it. The building is a heritage remnant of the former YMCA, which we liked. You get hassled a bit when you leave the main entrance and walk past the sidewalk shops, but that's to be expected.

Rooms big clean and comfy!

The location, the receptionist, the inhouse cafe and the room itself The water pressure in the bathroom was awful and could be improved.

The prime location, spacious rooms
-
The location is right in the city's busy outdoor shopping district, near parks, and not too far from the metro. Access was a little bit inconvenient. Lots of stairs, or an ancient elevator.

I loved many things about the property. The first thing that stands out is the vintage architecture, with high-ceilings and broad staircases, big rooms. Location is terrific, next to Indian Museum, across from Maidan, and close to Park Street Cannot really think of anything.

Excellent location and service
-
Bit on a costlier side restaurant . Complimentary breakfast would have added a value to customer's money spent. But I accept it !

Location and cleanliness was good. Washroom faucets and fixtures should be kept well maintained. The foot rugs were not absorbent. Consider replacing them with towels perhaps.

The location is excellent, stone's throw from Park Street, adjacent to the Indian Museum. The rooms are basic, clean, comfortable. The place is quite charming. The service is good. The building was made in 1857 so it is a bit ramshackle. There is a lift but I wouldn't recommend to anyone with mobility issues. They didn't have a breakfast room, so breakfast was room service. There is a cafe in the property but I didn't try it. The cafe has a lovely terrace which one could use.
