beautiful location. the grounds were very well kept. the room was clean and comfortable. the staff was excellent. just steps from the Pacific ocean and within short driving trips to the areas beautiful sites. A 10 out of 10. 👍👍👍

Good location on Moonstone Beach and convenient parking on the property.

They should have a coffee table.

The location was great. The walls were paper thin, we could hear the conversation from the next room. Breakfast included was pathetic and the staff were very unpleasant.
-
Does not look like much but great location, large rooms and comfortable beds. The little patios are a nice bonus.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Fireside Inn, particularly with the room advertised as having a “partial ocean view.” In reality, the view was mainly of the parking lot, with only a small hint of the ocean visible in the distance. The rooms were clean, but there was no air conditioning. In a partial ocean-view room, the window must remain open for ventilation, which meant hearing all the noise from the parking lot throughout the stay. The combination of the limited view, lack of air conditioning, and constant parking-lot noise made the room uncomfortable. The hotel’s photos were misleading and created the impression that guests booking a partial ocean-view room would actually be able to enjoy a meaningful ocean view. That was not the experience I had. The difference between what was shown in the hotel’s promotional pictures and what I saw from my room was significant. I understand that a “partial ocean view” does not mean a full ocean panorama, but I still expected the ocean to be a noticeable part of the view—not primarily a parking lot with a glimpse of water. Based on my experience, I would recommend that the hotel use more accurate photos and provide clearer descriptions of what guests can actually expect, including the lack of air conditioning and the parking-lot noise. Overall, although the room was clean, the misleading representation of the view, the lack of air conditioning, and the constant noise took away fro

Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated, two chairs were great for reading, Coastal in feeling. Loved walking outside our door, crossing the street and landing on moonstone Boardwalk and the ocean. Excellent choice.

We met a worker by the name of Mike who was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean it was stocked with plenty of towels and pillows. When we first arrived our room was rather musty and hot. The only air in the room was a fan that wasn't very powerful and for two beds it wasn't enough. We had to sleep with our sliding glass door open to cool the room down. Also when I was booking the room the view that it showed was a little patio area looking out towards the water. And the one I got was patio area that was looking out to the parking lot. Little disappointing.

Rooms were clean Staff were a bit slow and it wasn’t quite like it looked in the photos. We were woken every morning by banging doors.

The location, the interior design, and well-maintained rooms and grounds. We also liked that we could bring our small dog. * Lack of any built-in air circulation in the room, though there was a fan. The room could get stuffy. *tiny trash/recycling bin *we had to wait an extra hour to check in to our room *lack of any healthy breakfast options other than oranges. The oatmeal packages were all sugary, and the cakes, though delicious, were not healthy choices. Perhaps adding hard boiled eggs, plain yogurt, plain oatmeal would make for healthier options.

The room was cozy and the bed was so comfortable. I wish the breakfast had had more options. And a jacuzzi would be a great addition to the pool.
-
Cozy little place right across the road from the ocean which you can hear if you're in a room at the front of the property. Nice board walk across the road to walk along the ocean with beach access every now and then down the bluff to the shore. A couple of nice restaurants within walking distance.

Fireside Inn is a cozy and cute down to earth hotel in a gorgeous location, right across the street from the beach. Our room was cutely decorated and had a fireplace and a small patio (when parking lot is full you look at the cars).

Great location right across from the beach. Fireplace in room.
