Breakfast was a traditional Spanish meal eaten in the bar and the hotel were happy to provide extra coffee.

Great location in the heart of town; our bikes were safely stored in the basement of the hotel overnight. The room and bathroom were quite small but as the hotel was keen to stress, it was only a 1-star establishment and this was reflected in the price. It was perfect for a 1-night stay.

Breakfast was very good, and the staff was also very helpful and joyful. The room is good enough for a week and the bed was spacious and comfortable. Everything seemed clean. The shower was small, and the curtains get in the way of taking a bath.

Perfect location, great value for money, and clean and comfortable rooms, the place and the hosts make you feel at home easily. The room can be noisy from the outside, but they give earplugs. Hooks to dry the towels would be good. The breakfast is Spanish, very tasty but very sweet, that is good to know.

The hotel was off the town centre - quiet after the bar next door closed (not late)- but a little bit of a walk to the town facilities. Managed to park free close by with the help of our hostess - a bonus, as was the bar with good prices. Some TV channels in English - always nice to keep up with the news. The breakfast was a bit basic-continental - but OK.

Right in the centre of Cangas de Onis, the hotel is above the bar where breakfast is served. This made us feel part of the area as the locals all greeted us every day as they had their morning coffee and chatted. The man who runs the hotel and bar is very friendly and chatty. The room was small but pleasantly decorated, very clean and with nice bathroom. As the hotel is in the centre of town it was quite noisy but we found that the noise did stop as soon as the bars closed which was probably soon after midnight. I'm also not a fan of a big, solid single bolster instead of my own pillow but that's a small quibble and nearly everywhere we stayed had the same thing.
