Everything was good

They charge a lot for the food, and add a service charge, and I noticed I got charged more one day compared to the previous day. Normally staying some where would get you a discount for the food to encourage you to eat there. But here I felt upcharged for not buying their surf package.

I advice any one to stay in this place it’s very nice and comfortable

It’s for rest, relaxation and self-retreat. Bed is comfy, housekeeping is cleaning everyday. Pool is nice. It’s home away from home for me! They took care of me when I was sick. Staff are all amazing! No kitchen to cook. I hope they will put microwave, a stove for some easy-to-cook food.

closeness to the main part of town social hostel staff was so loud in the mornings if you sleep in the rooms downstairs you can hear everything going on

Staff is really friendly the place is clean and the wifi is good.

????????

It's very central, with bars, clubs, restaurants all around, 15 min walk to the beach. It's perfect for teenagers and people looking for pure party, but not so much for digital nomads. The surf lessions start very early (7-9AM) and that's the only option throughout the day; there is no quiet option like a co-working for digital nomads.

Very close to all accommodations, a lot of activities like surf, going to live music sunsets, etc… The terrace closes at midnight and you can’t even sit down on a chair or even on the ground, i personally had some work on my computer after midnight and they refused to let me sit down( no noise just laptop) I even spoke to management and explained I have work and it was necessary that I work and he still refused which was shocking, and when asked for a refund they kept 2days plus, not a good service

First proper hostel stay for me, and honestly, Somewhere Else blew it out of the water. Way better than any hotel I’ve stayed in. The whole place is clean, modern, and you can tell it’s been put together with a lot of love and thought. Travelling solo can get a bit lonely sometimes, but not here. They’ve got social stuff going on every night, so it’s super easy to meet people. I had mates by the first night! Such a great spot to connect with legends from all over the globe. Beds were comfy and spotless, lighting was perfect, air con was on point, and they even make your bed every day. Oh—and there are two pools. The food’s top-notch too, with plenty of variety. The vibe is chilled when you want to relax, but there’s always something happening if you’re up for it. What I really loved were the social nights—proper hangouts, no one glued to their phone, just real chats and good company. Felt like a genuine community. The location’s ace—right in the middle of Canggu and a short stroll to the beach. I originally booked for two nights… ended up staying the whole week. Says it all, really. 10/10 would come back.

The social environment and the breakfast options were great!

Can’t really fault it - really clean rooms, very social atmosphere. Surf camp was amazing fun. Spend half the day surfing and then can just relax around the pool

The hostel is amazing and the people you meet here are so much fun! I am genuinely so sad to be leaving and will never forget the time I had here. There are so many activities as well and it’s so easy to make new friends! I’ll definitely be back The surf package is really expensive and they are so inflexible with it. If you do get the surf package just make sure you fully understand the Ts and Cs because they are not very easy going when it comes to changing this.
