Nemea Appart Hotel Cannes Palais

Location was perfect to walk anywhere in city center. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious w many amenities. the bathroom was huge, great shower pressure, strong hair dryer. It was a perfect spot to spend a few days in Cannes. all worked great!

Maybe some rooms need more maintenance, for example some floor tiles in the bathroom were broken and of course they need to be repaired and the cleanliness of the pool was a problem, I got there one day and just some sunbeds had a mattress, for the rest of them you will stay on the iron sunbed which is not very comfortable….

Loved the spacious room and bathroom. Comfy beds. Gave us 1 set of towels for the whole week. Made us pay for extra towels. €5 each towel. No room service. No cleaning service. Not what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel.

i liked that it’s comforting. did not like that there is no cleaning services and i have to pay for the towels if i want extra.

No one cleans the room

Nothing Misleading and false information on booking platform. No hotel staff available to provide support, just one receptionist. Hotel amenities and facilities not functioning (AC, Telephone, Noise from electrical panel in the room) Very unresponsive for issues I have faced Rejected to provide me the suite I booked for

Housekeeping is very expensive, no clean towels, AC in bedroom of 401 was not working , swimming pool water was not clean and my daughter got skin infection so far I didn’t get my deposit 300 euros

Air conditioning By no metric is this a 4 star hotel. The blonde girl at the front desk in particular does not speak or respond or look at you when you speak, really baffling to see that. She was so incredibly unhelpful, she only speaks when you annoy her. The other people at the front desk were much more helpful (like the one who actually called to check if our room was ready before 3pm, which it was). Whoever manages this place also does a very bad job. Toilet paper left in the lobby for more than 6 hours (see photo), cleaning cart blocking the emergency exit for more than 12 hours (see photo). The carpets are also unbelievably stained (see photo, carpet was completely covered in brown stains just like that all the way). Cleaning people also extremely rude beyond belief. You also need to take out your own trash, despite them keeping the kitchen area of the room locked, which to me makes no sense, never seen that in any hotel. Laundry room also disgusting. Pool was super cold, after we tried using it we also kept seeing someone with equipment testing the water, it looked like he was getting samples of the water quality, which also did not seem like a good sign. Coffee machine downstairs would have been nice, but in 5 days we were there it never got restocked so could not use. It's hard to find anything that was positive about our stay here. Especially the rudeness of the blond girl and cleaning ladies. Also there is no "do not disturb" thing you can put on your door, but don't worry as they will not bother cleaning anything when you are there even if for 5 days. A two star hotel is much closer to this than a five star one is by every metric.

location and quality

Bathroom was not as expected. To take a shower I had to learn with trials and errors how to use it. Very complicated. Water was dripping outside. Everytime I had to mop the floor.

Very big space for family, underground space for parking =) with an extra fee =( The sofa bed was not arranged as bed when we arrived and we had to make it too tired after a long trip to get there
