La Zagara Hotel

The staff was super courteous and very attentive. The entire property is super clean and well kept. Amazing views from the room and terrace. Good little breakfast. Room was good size, plenty of hot water and reliable WiFi. Close to bus stop and market

The hotel is just a little way up a hill from the main street and beach area, very convenient. Being up on a hill gave us a fantastic balcony view overlooking the water. The room was comfortable. The included breakfast was very good. The bus from the ferry to this side of the island is extremely reasonable (1.5 Euro when we were there) and easy to use.

Wonderful hotel, with outstanding views! Great location right by the beach and close to the bus station too. Giovanni is a legend and all staff in general were super friendly! We will definitely return back!

Beautiful spotless clean hotel with lovely view. Staff were very helpful. We were picked up from ferry which was great. Very long pepple beach nice to swim in. Need water shoes. Steep walk up a hill to get to hotel. Be aware Lipari town is 3k .Busses are very regular for €1.50 but they stop at 8.45pm which is a shame as its lovely town to walk around in the evening. Taxi's cost €20 to get back. Also some of the boating excursions are not back to Lipari till 9pm.

Amazing place with nice and kind team to assist you with everything you need. Very close to beach and bus stop. Super clean and really beautiful place. On arrival, we were met at our ferry at 10pm by the free shuttle service from the hotel. Brilliant service. We really liked the quiet location, over the hill from the main port and at the edge of the town. There are lovely beaches within easy walking distance and the local pier has day cruises to the other islands. The hotel was modern and clean. The breakfast was good, there is a roof terrace with great views and facilities at the hotel were great. Quite a trek from the main town, but the hotel provides free pick up and drop off to the ferry, so it wasn't an issue for us.

A stunning location. Beautiful hotel with delightful breakfast and roof terrace. Jacuzzi available. Manager always on hand to drive you to Lipari if bus is late. Very clean and comfortable. The room is small for a solo traveller (just a single bed) and it’s a bit expensive. The key did not always work to my room.

The most amazing rooftop, where we had drinks (brought up by staff) sitting under the stars- all by ourselves Service was in general perfect, and the place was nice Only remark- our balcony looked right into two doors

The breakfast was simple and had everything you need, a variety of meats, pastries, cakes and breads. Lots of different teas and coffee. The location was perfect just out of the chaos of Lipari centre round the corner and a beautiful sea front and church a short walk away from the hotel through beautiful narrow Italian streets. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond and are always around to answer questions and help where they can. I had the single room which was perfect for a solo traveller and my garden looked out to Stromboli which was just magical in the mornings and evenings. The cleanliness of my room was exceptional and tidied everyday with new towels and bedding. They also did my laundry for free which was very appreciated. The hotel facilities are great including a hot tub on the terrace of the hotel overlooking the island and volcano Stromboli in the distance. The lovely kind I think his name was Juliano offers free shuttle transfer to and from the port in Lipari, he kindly picked me up in the afternoon when I arrived and on my departure took me to my new hotel in Lipari centre which the new hotel wanted to charge me 15 euros for picking up from the port despite it being a few streets away! Juliano from La Zagara hotel also let me jump in the car in the mornings to the port during his shuttle transfers when I was going to visit the other islands by Hydrofoil which saved me money and getting the bus! I could not recommend this place more, such a pleasant experience and absolutely will be coming back! Thank you all. Nothing comes to mind! everything was positive

The location is tremendous. Just a couple of minutes walk to the beaches and local restaurants and one of the best gelaterias in Italy!

Lovely location, nice and quiet but only a short walk to the Beach and restaurants. Everything was great.

Location Room very clean Bigger bar soap Room too hot. Refrigerator in room unable to keep things cold. Elevator smelled

Air conditioning did not work well. Our bathroom light did not work and our shower wand holder was broken.

The room was very nice and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful
