Tolovana Inn

Great location, big hotel not a little motel as the name inn implies. Very comfy beds, clean and great location.

Fireplace did not work, room was not ready at check in, fridge had leftover food from previous guests. The walls are thin and can hear sounds from others very clearly. The view makes up for it but still a lot of money for such poor service. It’s gone downhill the past few years

We had a nice stay. We loved our room. Great view. Loved having a kitchenette. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had the necessary essentials. Room service was ok. We were only stayed a couple of nights so didn't have a lot of interaction with room service and staff. The staff that we did encounter were helpful and nice. The location of the Inn is so perfect. Nice time we will plan picnic lunches on the beach and bring blankets to watch the sunset. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tolovana’s staff, location, and room 308 couldn’t have been better. Our room was clean and well appointed for the two of us. Our balcony faced the ocean with a great view of Haystack Rock and the sounds of the crashing waves. The only detail that I missed was that there is no air conditioning. It was never a problem for us but they’re are box fans provided. My wife and I would highly recommend.

Right by beach. Room was quiet.

We had a short stay at Tolovano so didn't get to use many of the amenities. It's location was nice for our early morning beach walk over to Haystack Rock tidalpools. There was a family of bunnies playing on the lawn just outside our patio door that was fun to watch. The room was very nice with kitchen items we needed for our stay and there was a box fan already in the closet we needed to cool down with once it was too dark outside to leave the sliding door open. (The screen did not lock and with interor lighting on, we could be seen inside but could'nt see outside) There were lots of folks and cars stopping to watch the bunnies too which decreased our privacy. The market just across the street was convenient since the property only offered coffee, no breakfast. Parking was easy, just outside but there was always a line to check in and check out. Guess mid-August was a busy season for them.

Very poor value: highly overpriced room that was dark and dingy with no view (appeared to be a “kid” room attached to a room with a view of the ocean). We booked two months in advance based on Expedia reviews that were irrelevant to the room assigned. Expedia deserves all blame!

That means short on parking.

Great hotel, room was small, but everything we needed. Loved seeing the rabbits around the property and the elk!!!

Our check in time was delayed 40 minutes. Front counter staff was not open to any type of changes or accommodations. Slightly rude. The room was very clean and comfortable. Access to the beach and nearby dining was great.

right at the beach so nice and close! Also, Mo's is right next door for meals. Can't beat the location!

Nice place.

Clean, comfortable and the staff was good. It took awhile to get a room because housekeeping was running behind. The walls are a little thin, so it can be a bit noisy as people leave in the morning to start their day. Also, the electrical outlets are worn out and our cell phone were difficult to charge.

The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. They upgraded us and did a great job

The room was really nice and quiet.

I liked the distance from cannon beach, and it was relatively easy to get to. Seaside was only 20 min away. There was always parking which was convenient. I loved seeing the bunnies around (there is a no feeding sign obviously), the edible blackberry bushes, and the hydrangeas were well kept. Staff is friendly and accommodating, overall, gave great recommendations.
