I loved the spot and convince of everything so close that you could walk to it. Such a beautiful area. I do with that had some maintenance on the trees and bushes as it was hard to see the river. Staff was friendly and quick to respond but our room did have some dead bugs when we arrived 😕

The only thing I didn’t like was the difficulty of getting up & down to the river. Also the steep walk to the parking lot from Cabin 17.

Clean room that accommodates a large family and a price balcony in the room we stayed in. Staff was helpful when I had questions via text and call, also the complimentary tube transportation was nice, we ended up right back at the cabins. Second time staying and will stay again next visit!

Great place which is why we keep going here. But this time shower drain wss clogged. (We called and they came out and fixed it)

We've stayed at Hideout multiple times. Each time, the rooms were very clean, and staff was attentive and responded quickly to our needs. The location is perfect and has a relaxing vibe.

To access the river you have go down a bunch of steps causing access to the river to not be ideal for elderly or small children. Overall a good overnight stay.

The room was very clean and spacious with an amazing view, the TV and AC both worked as expected and kept the room cozy. The large fridge and microwave were convenient! We only saw one other guest during our stay, which gave a very secluded vibe

The view from our front door was wonderful. The sounds from the busy traffic on the highway right behind us, not so much. The rooms were clean and the shower was exactly as described. The downside was taking a cold shower ten minutes after getting in. The air conditioner was definitely in need of repair. When I mentioned this to the staff they stated they already knew about this and would request maintenance fix it. For the price it was acceptable but not remarkable.

What a gem this place is! I have now booked here twice, once for girls weekend and now for family weekend with 2 littles. Town is about a 20-30 drive but it doesn't feel like it at all and there are so many activities to do in New Braunfels, Seguin and Gruene. From splash pads, river tubing, parks, restaurants, hiking trails, antique/boutique shops, etc. there is so much to do. I highly recommend Hideout at the Horseshoe for a getaway- its magical!
