Hotel Metropol

Perfect location, very good pool, just go through one street and you see the beach. Nice views to go for a walk. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around. Private parking. It was very sad, when our plane was late and we had problems with car rental, we were about 1 hour late than was agreed (in messages) arrival at the hotel. We have informed about delay on the way, but already nobody had been waiting us. Nobody answered calls. It took 1 and a half hour standing and nervous near the hotel's closed door late at night with the kids. Only good random people helped to find the personal phone number of administration. And we finally got the keys.

The hotel is old, like in the 70s, very clean and personal very friendly. The pool has a nice terrazce but it need some renovation, the borders were green and had too much chlor on it.the breakfast was nothing and the coffee could not be drank. In sommer the heat is unbearable and they did not habe (or switch on ) the air conditioning in the hotel reception….. Quality price relation

The location of the hotel is perfect, 70 meters from the sandy beach and really close to Caorle center. Close parking is available, huge pool, relaxed area at the pool and the bar. The staff is very kind and always helpful. The room was cleaned every day. The hotel is a bit old-school but we liked it"s charme. The breakfast was the same every morning, but with a good selection. I would have drunk better coffee in the morning but I had a chance in the bar later on. :-)

Good location, nice room, kind staff, cheap. Half board was disappointing. Dinner was in a close restaurant which was very simple, only fast food (pizza, pasta, grilled meat with french fries, no other options) á la carte, not buffet. Restaurant staff was kind but did not speak English at all.

Old fashion hotel in good location. Furniture, bath room, not so friendly personal as is let say “standart” in Italy. Sound isolation from another rooms. For all special demand (like longer parking, umbrela set also during the day leave) is answear no! also in case that there is many free spaces. Swiming pool is open only untill 19pm. For me is a lot of better hotels in Caorle and there is no reason be in this hotel one more time in future.

The location is fantastic and if you have room facing the pool, it is really calm despite being cetral. The Hotel is very very basic. A the equipment and furniture is long past its due date. For our first night the AC did not work, we had two kids and over 31 degrees in the room. The staff was trying to persuade us all is fine. Next day they moved us to another room and it much improved our stay (but I have to say I said some really nasty stuff to get the room). Breakfast is very basic. Windows very thin, so if your room is to the street it is actually quite noisy even with windows closed. Did not offer discount or any additional service for the first night. We finished our stay, but will bot be coming back.

Amazing breakfast and the kindest receptionists ever! Kudos to the 2 fantastic young lady who managed the reception, with helpfulness, kindness, and a constant smile! The room was tidy and clean with a great view on the sea. Enough for 2 people. The bathroom was freshly renovated. Aircondition went wrong on the 2nd day and was not fixed, which was an issue in 33 degrees celsius. They tried to help, but it was not fixed before we left. So doublecheck air condition before you go to your room.

Exceptional

Very good breakfast, which was a surprise based on previous opinion. There was everything you can expect: fruits, vegetables, cheese, cold meet, bread, tea, coffee, croissants and super tasty yogurt. Yes, a coffee should be better, but it was only one small disadvantage. I liked the location so close to the beach. Also every room has it's beach chairs and umbrella assigned, which was very comfortable. Beds should be better, more comfy. Rooms interior is very simple, like during a summer camp. However, the cleaning staff was very efficient and always room was made up during the breakfast time, which was super comfortable. Balconies too close to each other. If your neighbors likes to spent time there smoking, then you have a problem. Very poor WiFi.
