Hotel Rex

Good breakfast, Hotel is close to the beach and to the center. Very supportive and friendly hotel staff. The hotel itself is old but very clean including the rooms. Since the hotel is not directly in the center and not directly on the beach, it's not noisy or loud and you can easily sleep with open doors/windows. Arriving by car can be a challenge. There are almost no free areas for parking and unload/load you car after arrival/departure so I had to hurry. The official parking area is ok, it's not so far away and in walking distance. In any case, this is the problem for most of the hotels in this area and not specific for Hotel Rex.

Almost on the beach, near old city, pleasant staff, included sunbeds & umbrella, excellent dishes, additional dinner and parking, sea view adjoining room, fresh juice at breakfast. No free small refrigerator, but extra cost for our own mobile refrigerator. Water at the shower was barely running. Coffee included at breakfast was not as expected as for an Italian one (the machine was not working properly), no olives. Too short time for having dinner, on a hurry (4 dishes). No facility for beach towels to hang in order to dry. It needs some refurbish in general.

The ladies from the reception are nice and helpful, always there ready to answer our questions. The rooms are fine, not too big, but enough for 2 people to fill well. People want to spend most of the time on the beach or visiting the area and not to stay in the room. We go to seaside in Veneto because there are the sandy beaches nearest to Hungary. The air conditioner was OK, The breakfast buffet was perfect. The hotel has its area on the beach where umbrellas and sunbeds are included in the price. The car park is situated at 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. It is OK too. A little fridge could have been benefic in the room to keep our drinks cold. It was the hotest week of August.

The location is perfect, the staff was very welcoming and ready to help, breakfast was very good! The window lock was broken, and as we know that there are robbers at this sea coast - we were a little bit nervous. Also during the "calm time" during the day workers were repairing a window in the corridor, what was very loud.

The hotel was very friendly, located close to the beach as well to the center, We appreciated their rent bike service. Breakfast was tasty, the coffee machine was good and the fresh fruit was great! We missed the bikes for kids at the hotel. The only big problem was the awakening by garbage collectors every single morning between 6 - 7 a.m. They were really noisy.

Great location. Low insulation level so coridoor sounds are well in room. Parking is far away and you have to give parking "sign" back to them when leaving so going back and forth is a must. Of course it is never their fault.....

Lovely friendly staff, great location. Supermarket 50 m, beach 50 m. Basic room, clean, tidy. Breakfast included. Free bicycle, beach bed. Parking for 3 Eur per day in a parking house, a floor rented by the hotel. So everything is really easy to manage while you are there. Low water pressure in shower, though it was ok in the basin tap. So for long hair not easy to wash hair.
