Staff are lovely. The kitchen always clean and ready to use. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Clean bathroom amenities. Always felt safe - gate and door locking mechanisms very secure. Good solid vibe - the place attracts down-to-earth, authentic clientele.

The facility is excellent, clean and well maintained. It's in a very good location within walking distance to restaurants, stores and nightlife. It has a lounge area outside and a swimming pool inside. The staff is available 24 hrs and very helpful. I would have preferred to have a non-shared room but there was none available because of a big conference/ convention in Cape Town.

Honestly, this place was perfect. Comfy, clean, quiet and people just come and go, no social pressure or forced backpacker vibes. The communal kitchen just needs a level up to the hygiene. Its perfectly fine, but could be better to make the overall experience better. things like santizer spray bottles and clean the microwaves daily.

Everything was very good thank you. My only complaint is the fact that the wifi in my room was not working properly (I am a student and had to access the wifi in order to study). I will be visiting you guys again very soon and also recommended the accommodation to friends and family Wifi did not work in my room.

The place is very nice and comfortable. There is excellent wifi, enough shared bathrooms and toilets, and a beautiful swimming pool. The staff is colaborative and you can have a good paid breakfast or meals at the restaurant. I paid 35 US dollars (ZAR 606) for a single room with shared bathroom, which I think is a little excessive price compared to other similar places and overall value of money in South Africa. I was expecting a little more from the place. The shared kitchen is specially very messy and with lacking of utensils.

Breakfast was excellent and I really enjoyed meeting the staff and making new friends in the hostel. The location was perfect, and the ambiance was very comfortable. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wishes to stay in Cape Town.

Really nice stay, comfi room and friendly staff. Can be a bit noisy at night, as the rooms are in front of the pool/ sitting area .

You couldn't ask for much better for the price. A night in a private room is about $30 USD. Knowing that, you shouldn't expect 5-star accommodation. If you plan to explore the city and surrounding areas, this is a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were clean. The breakfast was really good. I didn't use the kitchen space, but it is available. I found some guests had left the kitchen quite messy. Also, security of the building felt good. There are also safes in the rooms if you need them. The one downside was the small window in my room above the bed that banged open every time the wind blew. I had earplugs and was so tired that I slept through it, but I could see it potentially bothering some people.

Loved the location loved the place it was beautiful and so worth it a very gorgeous place would recommend to anyone going on holiday.. The dishonest staff members about taking 3 rings in my room i stayed in that meant alot to me and then being dishonest and saying there was never rings..

Very nice staff and location The room smelled funky. I think the carpet badly needs a thorough cleaning (with water/steamer) - it seems to have accumulated smells and humidity for thirty years. I tried to turn on the fan but that made it worse. Shower floor also needs a deeper scrub as the tile goes from grey in the middle to brown on the sides.

Nearly everything: location, price, facilities, and the kitchen. Perfect! Three issues: 1. The ladder getting into the top bunk, the metal rungs are too narrow for feet. I had to put in my shoes every time I climbed in our out. Ouch. And I weigh only 62 kg. 2. It would be very nice for each bed to have a small shelf in order to place phone, earbuds, etc. 3. Each bed needs a dedicated electrical socket. Come on. My closest socket was 2.5 meters away! ?
