Room had a musty smell. Air conditioner was turned to 62 degrees when we arrived. The filters for the unit were on the floor. ??? There was a moldy ring in the toilet, toilet seat had wipe marks on it, not cleaned well. There was hair in the sink and white toothpaste on the faucet. I was so glad I brought Lysol wipes. Mold in the tub around the caulking. I don't know what rooms other people had to give this hotel a wonderful rating on Hotels, com, but I won't be staying there again.

Staff was good and clean room

The only thing this place needs are slight upgrades. I love the classic feel so not too many updates lol. Place is clean and staff were very kind. Breakfast is minimal but they do have a make your own waffle bar

This was the second time I have stayed here and the staff was so helpful and great.

At check-in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought our luggage to our room, which felt very chilly. So we turned the temp up to 72 before going to dinner. Upon return, everything in the room felt damp. The carpeting, the bedding, the towels. Everything. It felt like someone had left a humidifier running for a few days. But we were tired from our 8 hour drive, so we hoped the AC adjustment would resolve the problem. It did not. In the morning, everything was still damp, and we noticed what MIGHT have been black mold on the wall. We went to the front desk to inform them of the situation, at which point one of the staff members said "Oh, that room was supposed to be taken out of service". Nice. We were then told that because we booked the room thru Expedia that there was nothing they could do to help us, but if we had Expedia contact the GM, they would probably offer some form of compensation. So we did, but the hotel declined to offer any compensation. Oh, and the breakfast, no eggs and no bacon or sausage. Waffles, toast and cereal.

As soon as I entered the room, I was hit by a strong damp, musty smell, almost like mold. The room clearly needs much better ventilation. The bathroom also seems to have poor ventilation, so all the humidity from the bathroom spreads into the room. There was also a strong manure smell coming from the nearby fields whenever the wind blew toward the hotel, which made the situation even worse. Another inconvenient detail was the vanity area. Instead of having a mirror above the vanity, there was a framed picture. A vanity should have a mirror, especially for guests who need to get ready in the morning. Overall, the hotel looks much better in the photos than it feels in person. There are several areas that need significant improvement, especially ventilation, odor control, and some basic room amenities.

Overall this was an incredible and budget-friendly stay. The staff was super welcoming and willing to help at any moment. I stayed in a single king bedroom and it was very clean and comfortable. One thing I will note is there was little variety for the breakfast but I still got everything I needed. Worth every dollar and I would stay again.

Although we requested our room to be made up, it never was for three days.

When I pulled down the bedding on one of the beds, there was a significant yellow stain on the fitted sheet with a matching stain on the flat sheet above it. I tried calling the front desk multiple times—at least 10 times—with no answer. I then tried the phone number listed on my Expedia reservation, but that number didn't connect me to anyone either. When I went into the bathroom, I found stains inside the toilet and on the toilet seat. My daughter then got into the shower, and brown, dirty water settled around her feet. The bottom of the bathtub was absolutely disgusting. While walking toward the elevator, I passed an open area where I could see clean towels and bedding on shelves, along with a housekeeping cart and cleaning supplies. Since it was late, we were exhausted, and I couldn't reach anyone for help, I ended up taking it upon myself to get clean bedding and cleaning supplies. I scrubbed the bathtub, toilet and sink myself and replaced the dirty bedding. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed. The next morning, I explained everything that had happened to the staff. After everything I had dealt with and having to clean our own hotel room, all I received was a look. There was no real apology, concern, or attempt to make the situation right. A hotel room doesn't need to be luxurious, but it absolutely needs to be clean.

The hotel was very clean. My room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was very basic but they had waffle mix and a waffle iron ready to go. Staff was very conscientious and eager to be helpful.

The receptionist checked me into a filthy room that was beyond clean. The property smelled like mildew and was very sour. The rooms were horrible, and I felt extremely uncomfortable and disgusted. I will never stay at this hotel again and will never recommend it to anyone. As I left the hotel in the morning, the smell was so horrible that it was as if the sewer had erupted.

Vicky was able to put us on the top floor in a great room.

It was an excellent property. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable plenty of towels. AC worked well. very warm and inviting decor. Staff was very kind. It was a gem of a find. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was continental and for the price decent only downside was that it was not a hot breakfast but for the price you couldn’t beat it.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff.

Apparently the hotel has changed hands since we booked because all the identifying signage was painted over and there are zero way of identifying the property from the street or the parking lot. They changed our room reservation when we arrived and informed us we would to pay extra for the room we already reserved and paid for. The breakfast buffet was rather weak as well.

Every staff member greeted you with a smile, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Vicky at the front desk made sure my request for rooms near each other was honored. Continental breakfast is sufficient, with delicious waffles from waffle maker.
