Not enough exposure to the help to make a judgment. I would think they could add more amenities such as toothpaste. A magnified mirror also. Microwave was good, etc.

Staff is excellent and rooms are clean. Breakfast was very basic : toast and croissant not fruits but bananas there was scrambled eggs (not fresh- from the box) sausage and bacon they alternate so one day you get bacon and one day you get sausage.

Central location, close to all shops in Carmel...good for 1 night... Well, it is an inn...if you are there for a night perfect, otherwise book someone else...

Very good hotel for one night close to Hearst Castle. The rooms are large and well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The lady (owner) who welcomed us was adorable and super efficient (including cookies and little toys for the kids). Breakfast is simple but fine. You have to drive to Cambria to find good cafés and restaurants (less than 10 minute drive, however).

The room was clean & adequate amenities. In a great location. Parking was a bit limited and tricky. The buildings & elevators were set up oddly and difficult to use.The breakfast that was provided was decent and they had adequate food & coffee- guests didn't go hungry!

Our balcony was HUGE and overlooked Carmel by the Sea. We spent so much time just looking at the beautiful scenery.
