Breakfast and wine and cheese at 4:30 were both yummy. Really enjoyed the location and friendly staff.

Great location, very comfortable bed, great staff with an excellent breakfast and a hot tub to relax in. Four sisters line even has happy hour and warm cookies!

We really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. We liked how close it was to wonderful restaurants. The breakfast and wine hour were great as well as the delicious cookies you got. So happy we could get a parking spot.

Location is excellent - in the heart of downtown Carmel. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Parking was extremely limited and it was extremely difficult to get in and out of some spaces. The breakfast was just OK and the dining area was too small. Some guests had to wait for a table after filling their plates at the buffet table.

The breakfast was nice but the room is dreary. Not enough parking for all of the rooms. There are nicer places to stay for the same or less.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful, clean, cozy, and great location.

Great location to downtown shops and restaurants and the ocean. Parking is first come first served. Not a problem for us but it was for others.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The location is perfect for exploring all of Carmel by foot, and parking is provided at no extra cost. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really great - very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and adequate although a bit small. The daily included breakfast was varied, tasty and nicely presented, and the evening snack and wine offerings were a lovely touch, in addition to free bottled water and soft drinks! I would happily stay here again. It is pretty pricey for an Inn-Motel style lodging, but they do try diligently to make one’s stay pleasant and comfortable, and I guess it’s Carmel, man.

This is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of an even more charming town, Carmel-by-the-Sea. While breakfast is only served starting at 8:30 AM, the premium quality makes it well worth the wait.

I liked everything 10/10

Staff was super nice and helpful, it’s cool that they offer a complimentary wine hour in the lobby! They even made a hand written card for my boyfriend since I had mentioned we were coming for his birthday which was such a thoughtful touch. I just wish there had been AC or a ceiling fan in the room as it got a bit hot but overall everything was great and we will be back!

I am used to staying at le petit pali but it’s so expensive in comparison. This place while not as aesthetic was super cute. Better water pressure and I didn’t pay for a fireplace but got one. It was like half the price but way with it. Breakfast was fantastic.

Perfect location (with parking)! Comfy spacious room with working fireplace. No ac but windows that open and lovely breeze. Many amenities: frig, microwave (with popcorn), good coffee (Illy), cream (in frig), fresh filtered and cold water. Also breakfast was homemade and delicious, lots of choices too(and gf bread upon request). (Did not get the opportunity to try the afternoon wine and cheese and homemade cookies, but appreciate the option)
