Second time we have been here! Its a stunning place, can only recommend

Location is a bit far, so you need a car. However, that was a conscious decision as we wanted a pool. Great pool although the wire in the pool makes quite it look ugly. Good breakfast. Very clean! Quiet. Good parking. Good instructions by the owner on how to access the property. The host is was helpful with recommendations, however he was not friendly. Never even smiled. Staying at the property felt like we were staying at a stranger's house who was constantly watching us rather than being guests at a bnb where we've paid money to stay. It made us feel very uncomfortable and on edge. TV in the breakfast room is too loud and it plays music (ranging from Barry White to party music) every morning. We reduced volume on two occasions. One morning he made us feel very uncomfortable. It was just us (3 guests - me, my sister & her bf) in the breakfast room (which was the case on all days except for one morning) and we tried to put on a youtube video (of the history of Matera). He immediately walked into the room, told us off & asked us what we changed - we changed the language to english to be able to search. He then made us revert back to the original Italian, which is all fine as it's his TV. But he stood there, watched us change it back and told us off. It was the way he spoke to us - made us feel very uncomfortable. During breakfast, there wasn't a pot of coffee available. We had to ask and we were given one coffee each. If we wanted a refill or milk, we'd have to ask each time and it was awkward as we'd have to go out and ask the person chilling outside to come and make us a coffee. Only one toilet paper in my room even though we were staying for 4-5 days. I had to ask for a toilet roll more than once as I would only receive one at a time. We bought big bottles of drinking water as temperature was 35 degrees. But the room fridge is very small. The one in my sister's room was broken. We used the big fridge in the main kitchen for our water for the first day or so but realised it was his private fridge. So we stopped using it and drank very warm bottles of water.

The owners were very nice. They gave us good tips for places to visit and even helped us out when our car had a flat tire. The rooms were very clean and the garden and pool area was wel maintained. A very good atmosphere.

We absolutely loved the tranquility and calm environment of the property. The pool is gorgeous and clean. Breakfast each morning was delicious! Especially the homemade cake! Nothing! Everything was perfect, Cosimo and Gaetano were wonderful hosts

A real little hideaway run by Cosimo and Gaitano who really took care to make it as comfortable as possible for us. The breakfast was delicious with homemade cakes and pastries and freshly brewed coffee. A joy to start the day. Also received good recommendations where to go, what to see and where to have dinner. nothing

I had an amazing stay at the B&B, it felt like being home. Everything is so nice decorated and it’s perfectly clean. Breakfast is great, the best I had during my trip in Italy, and the service is outstanding -

location and pool area, breakfast and our second night when we changed the room the first night we spent in a beautifully decorated room but there was a strong unpleasant smell together with a lot of noise (humidifyer) that hold us back from sleeping.

We stayed in the Trullo which is really nice and well decorated. The pool area is amazing. The breakfast is also very good. Location is a bit far off but with a car ok. The host is not very welcoming. It is not bad but not as nice as in other places we stayed in Puglia. Therefor a 7 instead of 8. Musquitos by the pool are annoying.

The hosts are the best, so kind!!! The place is amazing, so beautiful. And the breakfast is really the best!!!! Would 100% go back and really recommend this. The room was also so so so beautiful, everything you need is present /
