Great welcome, bar, restaurant

Overall very good Service was a bit slow at dinner and breakfast, they were busy but breakfast too was a bit slow
-
Easy check-in at Pub, which has good food and Real Ales. Staff was very sweet to my dog.

Room was a bit small, I wouldn't call it Executive unless en suite means Executive?
-
The only thing I'd say was the bed wasn't too comfy and the shower head needed a good clean. But other than that it was a lovely hotel.

Super handy for village sights and events and a lively cool bar vibe.

A perfect stop-off point on my way north. It was easy to park and everyone was friendly and helpful.

The staff, location, rooms and breakfast at Cairn Hotel are fantastic. That's why I keep coming back when I need to work in Inverness. Room was huge with sofa and giant TV. Clean comfy bed, great sleep and always look forward to the breakfast.Go. The bar can be really busy - especially over the holidays so you might need to wait a bit to get checked in - but goes to show how good the food and drink is - the place was jumping this time.

Very friendly host Parking at the property Very large room

Rather tired decor, but still comfortable. We were never told breakfast hours. At 7:30 we asked if we could get breakfast, "Oh, OK."

The staff could not have been any friendlier. Liam was welcoming and helpful. Garreth (spelling?) was an exceptional wait person at breakfast. Friendly, informative, interested, thoughtful, and kind. As well, the breakfast was exceptional. Locally sourced, delicious, and plentiful!! Having to use a "private bathroom" across the key that needed a key to access. Not so convenient in the middle of the night.

Evening meal and a pint, what more could you ask for. The breakfast was cooked to order, exceptional.

We were a bit stuck trying to find accommodation in Inverness that wasn't astronomically priced due to an event. Found Cairn Lodge that didn't require us to have a mortgage for an overnight stay and it was a good find. Really friendly staff and lovely food. We had some dinner and the breakfast and it was definitely all freshly cooked and very good indeed. We had a budget twin room and it was clean, warm, comfy beds and certainly worth it for what we paid. Tea, coffee, water, caramel logs and TV. We had a separate private bathroom for the room, just across the hall, and I was delighted to discover some lovely fluffy bathrobes in the wardrobes for the hop across the hall which I thought was a great touch. Great value, good food lovely area and very friendly.

The hotel is easy to find, staff were very friendly, room was really good size and clean and had a welcoming feel. Free onsite parking. Little touches in the room like local bottled water and Scottish biscuits. I loved how welcome they made my little dog. Breakfast was included, but I didn't have it as I was out before it was served and back after it was finished. But it was a fantastic price even without the food. There was lots of lovely places within walking distance to visit, but I used it as a bit of a base to go further a field. I would definitely book it again. Thank you for having us. My only complaint would be the key ring on the room key! It was huge, I mean, you can't lose it, so I get why they have used it, but from a practical point where to put it? It luckily just fit in my pocket and no more. Nothing else what so ever was wrong with my stay, and I feel silly for mentioning the keyring, but if no one says you'll never know.

Food is excellent. Great choice. Also hotel well placed for seeing and doing things. Bed was a bit too firm for our liking. Also, there are lots of steps up to room, which may be a problem for some people.

Lovely village hotel with friendly and very helpful hosts, a vibrant bar area, and excellent meals. Stairs up to the room were steep and narrow, but the hosts insisted on carrying our bags in and out so this was not a problem.
