A gorgeous historic property right in the old town of Castellamare del Golfo, yet very quiet. We had the Barocco suite which was sparkling clean (like the entire hotel) and most tastefully designed with beautiful furniture, large bathrooms and wonderful toiletries. The staff like the very helpful Roberta was outstanding- always happy to assist in any matter. The hotel also excels in adding special and much appreciated touches to your vacation: free still and sparkling water is always available as are pastries and freshly baked cakes. One of the most special places I’ve ever stayed! 10/10!

The room was super spacious and beautiful. Excellent central location. Central AC, big living and dining area, and balconies off the living and bedrooms. Challenging to get a car near the property when you arrive and depart because of how tight the streets are and the property is in a bit of a dead end area. But that’s Italy for you!

Superb small hotel in the heart of the centro storico of Castellamare del Golfo: exceptionally well-furnished, immaculate, with attentive staff. The 24/7 snacks and free water are a nice touch, as is the available parking nearby. Excellent value for a stay central to all of the sights in western Sicily. Nothing - the hotel met and exceeded our expectations in every way.

The spa is very nice, but I wish it had more expansive hours and could accommodate more than two guests total per time.

The hotel is within easy walking distance from shopping, restaurants, marina, and other local attractions. The staff was wonderful and helped with directions and recommendations for enjoying the town. Nothing...it was a great stay!

The suites were beautifully furnished, very clean and full of modern amenities. There were fresh baked goods and water and coffee available throughout the day. The spa was small but very well appointed.

We stayed in the Florio Suite and it was amazing, possibly one of the best hotel/room experiences we have had, ever. The suite was beautiful, super clean and whilst a charming & old Italian building just off the main road in town, it was completely modern. The staff was extremely attentive and nice and had our check in completed ahead of time as we arrived after hours. We will definitely return to Costamante and highly recommend it. Nothing, everything was absolutely amazing!

Driving in the town to the hotel was tight, but doable. The parking is located off site. Not too far, but a bit of a walk. You are given a key to open the gate of the parking lot. On a few occasions, someone illegally parked in front of the structure and I had to find them to get them to move their car so I could get out. The key was a bit tricky in the gate lock.

The hotel was so beautiful, clean and very modern and updated. The location of the hotel was breathtaking it was right in the center of all restaurants coffee shops and the marina The staff was amazing and she helped us so much on the first day how to get around and which boat to rent and recommended a lot of great places for us to visit.. breakfast was great and really convenient room was spectacular and super comfortable we would definitely plan to stay here again

This was our favourite stay in Sicily. The suite was absolutely beautiful and very spacious, with lovely amenities included. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. The property is in a great location, just a short walk away from the Main Street and lovely restaurants. A perfect place to base ourselves while exploring the north west coast line. Nothing.
