The staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive. The level of service was outstanding, with genuine personal care that made our stay feel very special. The meals were absolutely incredible - fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality. We ate dinner at the restaurant with top service and gorme food! I was especially touched by the beautiful birthday surprise: flowers and warm birthday wishes that made the celebration unforgettable. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture that meant a lot to me. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back again. No such thing

The young cleaning woman was kind and good. But, Wow. Just Wow. I really don’t want to spend anymore time on this than need be, but I just want to make sure you know what you are getting in to when you book this hotel. Especially if you pay in advance. Our advice - don't do it. We have been all around the world and this has been by far the worst experience. We get it, it’s Southern Italy. We have been in much poorer areas with less infrastructure but have never ever been so uncomfortable and never met with such a lack of honesty, or professionalism. We had so many issues of concern (safety, greed, honesty, service, etc) in the first 6 days and asked to be reimbursed for unused nights and they wouldn’t let us leave. They offered us an “upgrade” to a suite – which is the same price and a bigger room but would have us given us less bathrooms and 4 people in one room. We paid 8,530 euros in advance for 2 rooms for 15 nights. Miserable. Safety – Our daughter gashed her foot on one of the metal plates in first few days in pool, and couldn’t use the pool for at least a week. The pool person helped but after all of our concerns (safety, service), we just wanted to leave. They wouldn't refund our money so be careful if you pay in advance. And booking.com took 1 week to get back to us and never helped. Other safety issues - We saw at least 2 other people hurt in the pool – 1 man slid down scraped his shin, and a child banged his chin and bled. After asking 3 times, we finally gave up, as our connecting room door never locked. At breakfast outside on terrace, a huge umbrella fell on me and the table as it wasn’t tied down. Service – Seriously, everyone smiles and tries to be kind (maybe except for the 2 older men at breakfast with the mustaches -not Genaro he was ok), but after we asked to leave and they wouldn’t let us we would hear them talking about us in the kitchen “so kind so kind” or “our friend wants a cappuccino. Isolated area - see photos below. Need a car and loads of mosquitos. Pool - gross and unsafe. Local teenagers there (ah yes, locals come with spa or maybe family) and its ok if they smoke and don't use headphones, but one teenager spitting and blowing nose in pool. Cigar smoking and football playing in pool (splashing afraid of getting hit w ball). Not relaxing. No outside food. We are family of 4 and staying 15 nights - we didn't make a mess for housekeeping and didn't go to pool or restaurant to eat with outside food, and just wanted to deliver food and eat in room. They didn't want others to see you can get delivery. Greedy - want people to use their resto (8 euro fries) so we had to go out for every meal. Breakfast – It would take up to 20 minutes to get a coffee. (Ah there is no coffee maker in the room). Also, no menus on every table, so didn't know but when we asked to leave and told no, the eggs Benedict then had an extra charge of 15 euros. (We had to send them back as whites not cooked) Stale bread. Water was in bottles but was being refilled so not sure where from - the still had sparkling water in it and the sparkling water had still water in it. No wifi for an hour when first arrived. Air Con - They remotely turned off our air conditioner (switched to dehumidifier) when we were at breakfast and then took 45 minutes to turn back on. When they weren’t remotely changing the settings, it blew cold. The gym – it is 4 machines – a treadmill, 2 bikes and a stairmaster. In the 15 days we were there, never all 4 worked. The air con we had to ask to turn on and there were loads of mosquitos. See photos. Honesty – Besides not telling the truth that it was booking.com's fault we couldn't get a refund for unused nights, or telling booking.com we were offered an 'upgrade', at checkout, there was a 250 euro charge for spa services (they said we booked a massage at 5pm day after checkout).

The property and staff at this hotel are unmatched!! From the wait staff at breakfast (which was incredible), to the front desk staff, we found nothing compared at the other hotels we visited while in Italy. Everyone went out of their way to ensure our stay was exactly as we wanted it. Front desk helped to arrange a boat trip to Capri, as well as taxi/shuttle service while traveling around neighboring cities. While exploring outside the hotel, the front desk made it super easy by pinning our location via WhatsApp and they arranged transportation back to the hotel or to another location hassle-free. Also, took some "me time" at the spa with a Lymphatic Massage. Incredible! The staff is filled with exceptional customer focused staff that we can't wait to come back and visit. Remarkable people! Can't wait to come back!!!

Outstanding staff- Gennaro (dining) and Carlo (lounge) in particular. Food was fabulous. Pool and grounds were largely unavailable.

I would like to thank Antonino in particular. Also Gennaro and all the staff. This is a great hotel run brilliantly for its guests. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Location is exemplary. No accident that it sits between two exquisite Roman villas. A hidden gem

The hotel is just exceptional- the grounds are beautiful and perfect for a romantic stroll in the evening and is quite stunning when lit up - pool setting is private and just large enough- we had breakfast outside on the balcony every morning just looking at mount Vesuvius! Great choice of food at the buffet and you could ask for anything off menu as well. We loved the bar, just really relaxing for an evening drink, with piano music playing in the background and luxurious chairs to sink into - we were also given free appetisers with each visit, which were different every time. The restaurant was also lovely with a large choice, but they were also happy to accommodate you if there was something else you really fancied. Hotel had beautiful high ceilings and is spotless throughout. We used the shuttle a LOT and if not available the reception staff organised us a taxi just by a quick WhatsApp message. We were just 5 minutes from the local stations - really easy access to Sorento through to Naples. It was so cheap ,about £1.50 each way to Sorrento. The best thing about the hotel were the staff though, they were professional yet so welcoming- we really felt like we were being looked after and were made to feel very special the whole trip We will definitely be returning!! The plug sockets in the room need a quick fix as a bit loose

The personnel take pride of the service in this hotel. It is excellent. The hotel is located in remote area but surrounded by beautiful park. There is a garden restaurant serving excellent meals. Rooms are very comfortable and swimming pool is big with many sun beds available. I need gluten free breakfast and was amazed by the choice given to me. They even prepared fresh croissants for me? The view from terrace during breakfast cannot be beaten. One can enjoy the Neapolitan Bay and Napoli. Car park on site. Everything was excellent. I could only wish for swimming pool to be open longer than 8pm.

Beautiful hotel with excellent views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Exceptionally clean, with a lovely sized bedroom and bathroom. The staff are absolutely superb (special mention to Vincenzo and Gennora) and really make the stay special. The location is perfect for exploring the Amalfi coast, or visiting Capri or Pompei. You can walk to the local town, although it is a hilly 30-40 min walk. Breakfast & the hotel restaurant were both very good. The hotel is really popular for weddings, so there was loud music until late for several of the nights we stayed. It didn’t bother us too much but just be aware if that’s something you want to avoid.

The best small luxury hotel in Italy

  • Engine customer Aug 2024

I love the gardens, the pool area, and the delicious food at the restaurant. However, what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional courtesy and hospitality of the staff, who are always polite, friendly, and dedicated to accommodating every guest's needs. I enjoyed everything, but if I had to mention something, the room could use a bit of a refresh!

  • Engine customer Aug 2024

Breakfast was outstanding, staff also outstanding Free shuttle was too infrequent, so became expensive as there is a charge to go to town if the free shuttle is not available

  • Engine customer Aug 2024

location and decor restaurant staff always pushing to upsell. We have small appetites and my husband wasnt drinkung alcohol. The really excessive proces fpr food especially room service. More expensive than 5 and 6 star hotels in Singapore where every songle piece of produce has to be imported......

    Pool breakfast and views

  • Engine customer Jul 2024

Everything. The grounds like a little oasis. Pool fabulous. Breakfast outstanding. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Outside of the hotel local area seriously lacking in any facilities/restaurants. Therefore had to drive to find restaurants. THe hotel restaurant great but pricey and limiting choice for more than one night.
