Hotel Montecarlo

Staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I was quite disappointed with my recent stay. The room facilities were far below expectations, especially given the price point. One of the most frustrating issues was the sink, which did not drain properly — water would collect excessively and took a long time to go down, making it nearly unusable. For a hotel charging this kind of daily rate, I expected much better. The value for money is simply not there. Based on the condition of the facilities and overall experience, I honestly feel the hotel should be rated no more than 2 stars — if that.

The room we were given is too small for four people. It would be perfectly adequate for two.

I especially liked the friendliness of the staff and the cozy feeling in the hotel. The hotel was fully booked, but our room was suitably isolated so there was no noise. The breakfast was simple, but tasty.

I was staying 3 nights to attend a course and this hotel was the within walking distance. I was given a check in code as I was arriving after 10. I didn't need it as staff were still there to help. Room and bathroom were very clean. I stayed on 2nd floor. The hotel is great value for money. I had breakfast only one of the days. The bedhead was close to the hallway side of the room and you can hear very clearly into your neighbour's room. When someone else opened their door, it sounded like my door was also trying to get unlocked. Of course it wasn't, but as a women traveling alone, it disturbed my sleep. This is my only negative and the hotel was otherwise quiet. Hotel was as advertised and I was a very satisfied customer.

Nearby dining options: There are a few reasonably priced and decent restaurants in the area, adding to the convenience of the location. Difficult access without a car: Reaching the hotel from Milan without your own vehicle can be challenging, involving a train ride followed by a 27-minute walk or multiple bus and train transfers. Basic breakfast: The breakfast provided is quite minimal, with limited variety, leaving room for improvement. Old furniture in rooms: While the rooms are clean, the furniture is outdated and could use an upgrade for a more modern feel.

the inside is very cozy it was a little difficult to access by walking because of all the cars driving by
