L'Atelier d'Epicure - Logis

We didn't find the property family friendly at all. It all started with a message before we arrived about it being a small hotel and our children needing to be considerate of other guests. Not a welcoming message in our view. Once there, our children were at the pool, with other children who were also playing, and they were told it was not a summer camp. We were told off for using the sauna without prior authorisation, when no authorisation was stated on check in. Would not recommend for families with children.

Superb rooms

A wonderful place worth recommending. Great owners. The room was well equipped, bright and clean. There was also a swimming pool at the guests' disposal. However, we cannot forget about the restaurant and its chef. The cuisine was top notch. A hotel worth returning to.

The room, pool, and car park The food whilst looking very elegant was in our opinion a little O.T.T - our 3 year old was served a whole duck breast with a couple of confit potatoes as the "childs meal"... If you're travelling and need some decent food to fill you before bed and hitting the road again go to another restaurant. The staff were pleasant enough until an issue occurred with payment as we were leaving, they weren't very helpful and made the whole situation very uncomfortable and rather hostile, despite me showing my bank statements with payments already made. A simple mistake but the way it was handled wasn't great. I couldn't help but feel like they were trying to scam us by charging both me and my wife for the room. Luckily I went back to speak with them and got the money back in cash after again an uncomfortable and hostile situation which unfortunately left a bad enough taste in my mouth to not stay here again.

Everything was excellent. Very quiet place, modern, comfortable room. Convenient parking.

Absolutely everything was perfect. From the room, to the breakfast and the friendly atmosphere with the owners and other guests.

Spacious & clean rooms with mini kitchen N/a

Christophe, Marina and The Team we're so Welcoming, nothing was to much for them. The rooms we're beautiful everything you would need , fully service kitchen, dining area, lounge area ,fabulous bathroom and a good size very comfortable bed. We are early riser 6am most mornings but some days didn't wake up till 9am great night sleep. You must eat in the restaurant Christophe's food is amazing and Marina is a Wonderful Host (with her wonderful head waiter who was so lovely , who i can not remember his name :-( so Sorry) Everyone was so very friendly and both Marina and Christophe we're so lovely with our dog Freddie who loved the kisses and cuddles Freddie would have happily stayed if we let him. The swimming pool was lovely and warm so inviting swam most day's. The Hotel was within easy reach of Sarlat, Bergerac , Beynac-et-Cazenac and Dome so may lovely places to visit. The hotel was beautifully presented, and the hosts Christophe & Marina were outstanding. All their team were superb, friendly, warm & helpful. There are no negative comments to make about about this hotel.

The breakfast was fab. Accommodation great and nothing too much trouble for the owners. All good. We liked everything about the place.

The owners - hosts, location, enviroment. Soundproofing in apartman is very effective. You can stay here a week or more. There is a delicious restaurant. -

Marina & Christophe were the perfect hosts, they catered for our every need. They were sp helpful, friendly and accomodating. The Hotel was stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. Exceptionally clean, and excellent facillities. It is so very pretty. 5 stars!!!

Even better than the photos, great pool and spa. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. Excellent food at Hotel Restaurant, but breakfast average. Nothing.
