To start with, the property is in a great position, central and standing in front of an unbelievable roman amphitheatre. The rooms are extremely beautiful, spacious, and everything is carefully designed with attention to detail. The breakfast was amazing, a buffet with local products and home made sweets and cakes. They will make for you whatever you want, in our case delicious scrambled eggs. Last but not least the staff was incredibly attentive, helpful and available at all times. It was a great stay, we will definitely be back! It was all perfect!

Everything was beautiful and perfect, the service was ten out of ten, the staff were extremely helpful, the food was delicious, and the arrangements were like a dream.

Absolutely stunning design, incredible views, privacy, luxurious. If you can handle several flights of stairs you’ll be rewarded with a truly unique experience at this B&B!

Beautifully designed place—modern, clean, and very comfortable. The room felt fresh and well thought-out, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location is also great, with easy access to the city and nearby attractions. That said, there were a couple of things to note. Soundproofing could definitely be improved—noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms was noticeable at times.

It seeks to deceive . The property is in the upper part of an old building with a totally concealed entrance. The lower part is another hotel . When we arrived the staircases were overrun with school children from that hotel . The stairs are very long and steep, so thank goodness for Ricardo meeting us and carrying some of our luggage . Valet parking @ €50 ( cash !) is essential as there is simply no parking near-by. The whole experience is based on design over function , eg a black mirror in the bathroom that isn’t usable as a mirror ( although others have been added on stands to overcome the issue ) It was lovely to get a hand-written letter from the owner with some cakes and a small bottle of Prosecco… but would have preferred a couple of bottles of water by the large bed ! Up another long set of steep stairs you find yourself on the Roof-terrace . Unfortunately the website pictures of Geese running around and an Arab dressed in authentic costume are just for the media shots. Breakfast was ‘interesting’ .. a small plate of ham and bread was consumed by ourselves ( sorry other guests !) … there were no bowls to eat cereal and the cappuccino was completely cold and had no foamed milk ( the guy on duty the following day did remake the coffee “ maybe I wait until the machine button goes Red, not Blue was his retort “ ) The tables were so small he had to bring 3 others from around the terrace to be able to place all the items on. On leaving we asked the receptionist to do what Ricardo had done and was told that he’d find someone else to assist with the luggage as he doesn’t do that . I have to say that Ricardo’s restaurant recommendations were brilliant and he seems to enjoy his role .

The breakfast was personally catered, you could order what you wanted. The avocado toast was very tasty. The staff was very caring and kind. The room was stunning, a lot of attention to detail. Absolutely magnificent hotel. Gorgeous view on the square from the balcony and the rooftop. Just beautiful. You should stay here if you appreciate the fading beauty of old times, style, character and elegance. If you search for a commercial hotel only to consume, this won't be for you.

Great location, perfect design and unique taste of the creator. Stunning interiors equipped with high quality linen and tableware + perfectly balanced breakfast and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable.

The room was exceptional, especially the shower! Staying here was a true experience. The beds were the most comfortable we've had on our trip.

The location is great, the design is special. Beautiful terrace and breakfast. Friendly staff they don’t have parking, you need to pay extra for a valet parking
