Everything was great. The host (Guiseppe) was very helpful and hospitable. The location of the apartment is also great. It's located in the quiet area of the city centre. The room was very clean and spacious. I would book it again.

We made the reservation on line.we receive tle Confirmation after that no communication at all we arrived to the place nodody answerd the ring. We triada to text and call no anwer We wait another 40 min an n nothing. Good locations por cleanliness ad lookink bad. We had to look for another place. Ill would not recommend it at all

The room was spacious with a small galley kitchen and nice bathroom with a good shower. Location was good as short walk to the main square for sightseeing The whole property was very dated in a run down part of town.

Several aspects were disappointing: - The address on Booking was different than the address that was shared with us on WhatsApp, which is strange - The entrance of the room is situated in the back of a building next to kitchen restaurants, behind a car, making it tricky to enter - the room is on the upper floor, reachable with a long stairs with very narrow steps so we couldn't take up our luggages. Not accessible for persons with limited mobility - the room smelled very bad from the toilets that have no aeration. - Finally, the room is in the main street above and facing bars and shops, very noisy. We couldn't sleep because of the noise (people screaming in the street by night) and the loud music from the bars. The windows were not at all soundproof.

The property is exactly as u see on the web. Top floor no elevator. Walking distance to bars. Price is reasonable. The area of this property is not accessible by taxi. We were dropped off in an alley 15 min walk away We had to call the owner twice before they showed up No pin or access details were provided before arrival

Although the arrival time was confirmed, the staff seemed surprised and confused by our arrival. The room was not ready yet when we arrived: There were not enough towels, soap and prepared beds for all of us. Also, breakfast was supposed to be in the room, but wasn't yet. Communication wasn't strong either. We had to ask multiple times (online) to get basic information like wifi and check-out.

great location. clean. very condensed room. offers coffee and basic breakfast options which is a nice gesture. nice friendly and very helpful staff nothing. the family room is lovely and comfortable. but it is different than the pictures. air conditioning in the family room which has two sections with two beds, is only in one section of the room which makes the second room without air conditioning. it was breezy though so its fine. but its an important detail to note. worth to mention also that late check in is with a fee. as it is not clear on booking.

The location is good and Giuseppe was very helpful. The check-in is until 8, and he very kindly wait for us 30min more. The description includes parking but actually the parking is on the street - Giuseppe (the guy in charge) saved a place for us the first day but the other days we had to look for it. The balcony was not as showed in the pictures, the view looks to a garbage bins and it requires maintenance. The included breakfast is very limited and not healthy at all (processed food).

Fresh and clean. Excellent location! Responsive host. Breakfast was included but it wasn’t much of a breakfast. A few pre-packaged strudels, packaged cookies and packaged chocolate twinkie-type food.

The host gave me the impression that he was kind and helpful. He provided gluten free products when I told him that I have a sensitive stomach. The host sent information about the history of Catania/a useful guide to important sights/places to visit and restaurants. The property was located minutes away from important sights of Catania, the Catania central station and the metro. I booked a stay at I Lumi 2 months in advance. Only when I arrived at the property address shown on booking.com (Via San Sebastiano) and contacted the host (Giuseppe) he informed me that the room I booked was located on another street close by. The room was located at a street very close to St'Agatha church (Via Giuseppe Garibaldi) which was very noisy and busy all the time (from early in the morning till late at night). I did not get a proper sleep for a single night. A/c was not working. When I informed the host, he told me that a technician would supposedly come and change a part during my stay, but this did not happen. He only told me that the part that neeeded to be replaced would arrive after the end of my stay when I complained about it (the last night of my stay). Breakfast was included in the price that I managed to secure. I did not realise that this meant being provided with 2 cartons of milk, 3 bottles of water, a marmalade, a Nutella, 3 bottles of water, and instant coffee that was not to my liking. Thank God the property was equipped with Nespresso coffee machine and I had some decent coffee during my stay. The host asked me to pay extra for cleaning because of my dog. I agreed to it but thought that at least a cleaner would come every other day. When I asked him when someone will come to clean the room, he just told me that the cleaning lady came and cleaned before I arrived and then will come again after I leave. I am not sure exactly why I paid him extra for cleaning. On the last night of my stay, all of a sudden the internet went off. I told him that I could not connect the TV to the internet again and I needed the tv to play in the background so that this will cover the noise from the street. Although he suggested a few things I could do to fix this, nothing worked. I asked him if he could come over and fix it for me, but he never did

Perfect location in the old town. Everything in a walking distance. Spacious room with balcony. 10/10 cleanliness. Nice host!
